Testing the next update

It has been like this for like 2 years now - that’s why sniper rifles always became ineffective when trying to mount the rifle on a windowsill.

The super pershing was notwhere to be found in the testserver

Continuing the discussion from Preliminary patch notes of update (26 April):

Aiming angles are MUCH better.
Also it feels like it’s much easier to mount .

Some issues though:

  1. You’ve made accuracy even worse. Not good.
  2. Mounting on trentches / craters is still not great
  3. Sometimes my gun stops being mounted when I aim too much left/right/up/down. It’s very random.

But overall a nice update :+1:
(Just fix the dispersion bug and it will be good.)

Are you digging with the MG now?

For some reason it flattens the ground. Similarly to how soldier flatters the snow when prone.
Imo a minor issue.
Also I wouldn’t mind if it stayed as:

  1. it helps to get a bit more cover (you can mount your gun lower)
  2. it may help to get rid of grass at your face (though I’m not sure, I need to test this but theoretically it’s possible)

EDIT:
It seems to not work on the grass. Only dirt road behaves like snow.

Is there any way that I can stop downloading the Callisto server on my MAIN enlisted launcher and turn it back to loading the regular enlisted server?

So, I like the game and appreciate the developer for continuing to update it, but I suspect that the developer himself has not test played it.

The developer himself would have noticed right away that the visual recoil is too exaggerated when a gun other than the LMG is placed on sandbags, etc., or that there are no customization items for the American pants in the Pacific, but did he really not notice it?
Have the developers themselves passed it on to us without checking it out at all?

Refining the game through player test play must be debugging after all, but I believe that the low-level debugging that we do in the development stage should be done by the developers beforehand. imo. :thinking:

Sorry for that late reply and actually thanks for checking this out for me as a console peasant @James_Grove please can the team in charge of customization fix this for once it has been an addressed issued since they were released.

This the event squad one which has the wrong one they are heers not luftwaffe and goes for all their uniforms in customization option

Event/Premium They can do a last minute tweaking to flip it around.

Finally, after years of hanging around trying to bipod on windows, I can’t believe it

The increased dispersion seemed to be a coding bug. To me the game have a hard time adjusting the mounting mechanics on dynamic surfaces, i.e. :trenches and shell holes. Solid fixtures seemed to work fine.

Yeah, you can mount your gun more easily, except it became even more pointless to do so, because what you’ll get is increased dispersion AND visual recoil obstructing your view.

Seriously, don’t bother unless they change that.

Thanks @ErikaKalkbrenner . I was coming to this only. Please @James_Grove @_Movmav @Euthymia07 can you ask the devs to fix this minor issue in the final release? We have been asking for it since ages. This only requires a small fix in coding. Link to the CBR post: Community Bug Reporting System
