Testing expanded BR for maps

Guess ill have to hop on and see if i like the new changes or not. Its not like its permanent yet. Everytime i check out the threads of this game people are screaming bloody murder or the end is nigh :rofl::joy::face_with_peeking_eye::face_in_clouds::laughing:

If players can freely choose the map, it can also make suitable weapons appear in the right places. Perhaps there is no problem with this plan. :sweat_smile:

Had my first match BRV US in Tunisia. Didn’t even go below 850 reinforcement tickets. German team got steamrolled by Sherman rocket tank and the Pershing. Enemy deserted. The enemy team only had 5 players. Why fix something that isn’t broken? Sorry @MajorMcDonalds but this ain’t it chief.

This is more of a test of the maps, to decide what tweaks and changes they need for certain BR levels, as far as I know, which kinda ties into the proposed map selection system.

I just hope that system also includes gamemode selection too. Not for me, I’ll play any map/gamemode that’s thrown my way, but I know a lot of players here do want one.

its happening to both sides atm any time I see a desert map at high BR I just leave because its just going to be the worst HE spam, bomb runs, and rockets/ air strikes than any other map

Exactly. Steamrolls are already a consistent thing. Of course it’s going to happen on all maps at any BR.

Not even, this was the worst one I’ve ever played and i was on the victorious side.

Seelow Heights of Br2 is more fun than i expected, although downtime between fights is a bit too high. Maybe for BR2 those objectives should be a bit closer together?

And maybe just maybe capture time should be shortened as the first point took eternity to take.

Other issue are plane spawns, bombers need to fly for almost 4km to reach the capture points. So can you move plane spawn a bit closer?

It’s the issue for both ground and air it seems too much downtime. Gonna test other Berlin maps.

I had a Tunisia BR5 match where Germany rolled the US as fast as could possibly be done. So… more testing required maybe?

Well, you allowed all the historical weight of the game to be banned by accepting the ā€œmergeā€, now you’re going to be sad when you see jets over Moscow? This is the beginning of the pain, look at that other neighboring game.

It’s definitely not a unique thing to Tunisia or Moscow just because of a higher BR.

what a crazy experience it was to try the new maps.It was very special to see late war tanks in tunisia.

There were plenty of people asking for something like it f’sure, but the actual implementation of it was a dog’s breakfast, and that much was also made plain in the testing.

The terrain of Tunisia and Moscow can present a despairing and overwhelming situation in a high BR battle, while the Tiger II in the quarry and the P47 in the cave are driving people crazy.

Well… When you have just inaccurate Jumbo/T-50 in Normandy/Moscow - it’s okay.
When you have MKB/Pz4F2 it’s quite okay.
When you have some terrible crap of 1945 in 1941 campaign - it’s well… okay it’s few of them and they unpopular + some vehicles like puma, still it’s okay…
But Tigers/AS/IS/Pershings/Jumbos/etc in early campaigns - hell no, that’s whole different deal. It’s finally kill whole aesthetics/authetic/atmosphere. Jets in Battle for Moscow god damn it.

Interesting what’s the next move to sink this ship?

This is one of the worst innovations that you could add, the maps of Moscow and Tunis are stupidly not suitable for high levels, that’s just how many maps don’t fit, what’s the point of this?
Even if some individual maps can be played at least somehow at high levels, why would that change anything from one map?
