Commanders, we have decided to expand the list of available maps for low and high BR as a temporary test.
During the test, we will open up the missions of the Battle of Berlin for low Battle Rating (I-II), and the missions of the Battle of Tunisia and the Battle of Moscow for high Battle Rating (IV-V). In short, all missions will be available for all BRs!
We will monitor how these missions will perform in these Battle Ratings in terms of gameplay, as well as your feedback about them. We are looking forward to your comments and suggestions, as it will help us to decide how to proceed after this test.
The test period will last from May 15th (13:00 UTC) to May 22nd (13:00 UTC).
WE APPRECIATE YOUR FEEDBACK!
Lots of exciting game mechanics have been realized or improved thanks to your ideas. We are watching our communities, other Enlisted sites and regularly check the forum for your feedback and reports.
It’s worth re-iterating - this is a TEST PERIOD, meaning it is for a limited time, and what, if anything, will happen after this test period depends on how it feels to play & your thoughts:
We are eager to see your feedback, especially after playing on these maps in-game at the new BRs, and developers are watching for different things they can do.
Please don’t, although the word’history’ no longer exists in the game a long time ago, this behavior has pulled down the final fig leaf of the game.
regardless,
my initial predictions are the following:
Moscow maps are going to be more or less enjoyable ( minus a tiger 2 in quarry or the abby bridge section )
and most of north african maps a pure slaughter house.
Developers are aware that at least certain maps may not play too well in high BR, which is why this is a test. This is one of the things they will watch for in the stats, through player experiences (posts about it) and player comments in threads - so that they can make decisions based on the results!
Action can be taken regarding specific maps in the future to ensure all maps are up to scratch for each BR, since some are naturally more conducive to high BR gameplay than others.
DF can build any and all maps they like, and “IF” they follow through with their talk about letting the players select our maps, whether we like or dislike new maps won’t matter because we can choose not to select them.
