Actually, the more I think about it, the less sense does this move from “Darkflow” make, even from a financial viewpoint.
Many whales/dolphins have expressed, several times already, that moves like these would be huge turn-offs that would lead them towards not spending ever again.
Meanwhile I haven’t seen anyone say “if you don’t open (insert map) to (instert BR that said map isn’t available to play on), I’ll leave the game”. There is no tangible benefit for this move, and even if they argue this is “only a test”, it already is scaring mamy people away from the game, as it showcases the devs clearly have their priorities weong, and the vision they have about the game has clearly shifted from what it once was.
This can be yet another Steam release situation. Hopefully it isn’t.
Well germany ingame barly has prototypes so it would retain basicly all of its equipment in BR 5.
The stg was mass produced so it certainly isnt a prototype.
We already have the Federov, an automatic rifle, incorrectly made an assault rifle. Don’t take us a step backward and make the assault rifle Stg an automatic rifle!
Well I get where you’re coming from, because I would love the game to be at least a bit more HA, but that ship has long sailed, so best we can hope is a compromise, as for why I placed the BRs where I did is because BR III is necesary in Moscow so T-34 is there, Tunisia in BR IV downtiers so Tiger I is there as well as Rzhev in IV so we can use both KVs in there, also because BR IV is so unrepresented it hurts.
Btw, sick mod my dude, your BF1/V voicelines as well as Bigote’s Firearms and Tanks mods are my main ones, also Shoutout to Wilcario for updating his hangar, hope Erika can update theirs as well I like to rotate them from time to time and those 2 are the best, with the Training Grounds one
the translation of the StG 44 into the category of automatic rifles will be relevant only in the case of global alterations, given above. I am not saying to do it NOW. But in general, delving into the issues of linguistics, Fedorov’s “Avtomat” is more of an assault rifle. The caliber is too small for a full-fledged rifle, as is the general ergonomics of the weapon, which is more suitable for the description of an assault rifle. Although this does not make it a full-fledged assault rifle.
The best compromise is the above-mentioned Br 6, or “historical battles”, if fans of battlefield are loved more than fans of entourage and historical accuracy. This way, players will finally be divided into 2 camps, and no one will interfere with anyone else and pull the game to their side. Just give each side a gun in each patch (conditionally), and in general, no one will be offended. Maps will be made as before, the only thing is that the balance will have to be worked on.
You claim to uphold or criticized DF for not delivering what was marketized and yet I think you dont even know or care what was said/ marketized.
The devs described campaign by saying that they only add stuff that was actually used in said campaign and only what was present there. And sorry, that was never the case so there goes that and your standards are irrelevant, because people didnt read the marketing of Dare Fish but of DF.
It also not helped by the extremely vague terms of HA 2.0 plebs to the point I am wondering how you expect the game to meet your demands if the demand is unrealistic and not clear and conflicting.
No, you are just making strawmen because you cannot simply answer me one question.
Why staying if the game cleary does not fullfill its own marketing promises, let alone fullfilling your own standards for years now?
Either you ultimately do not care about howard ambition or you play a game you dont like anymore.
I guess that makes the Type Hei an assault rifle since they both use the same cartridge. But they wouldn’t change it because then Japan would lose its high tier rifle for every Riflemen
The Federov is an automatic rifle.
It is a future debate whether it gets moved to Riflemen like all automatic rifles or automatic rifles get moved to Assault
Do NoT do this! This was one of the cool things to look forward to when changing BR’s. Don’t make EVERYTHING so ambiguous! Keep it how was for the sake of Veteran players and histories sake!
Genius move, splitting up the playerbase hard again is the best idea since the removal of old BP.
No.
The people who still clinge to unrealistic historical-accuracy standards this game does not meet since 2022, if not earlier, should stop playing the game or accept reality.
And the HA is apparently so big that it always comes down to the same five people.
Dunno. Bases on the vague standards of the snowflake group, game will be finished in less than a year and Japan would probably have a smaller arsenal than BR2 Germany.
Great future, not gonna lie.
