Testing expanded BR for maps

No, no, hell no, at least allow me to preserve some historical accuracy, I never comment on the forum, but this warrants my expressing my displeasure.

I have my own personal historical accuracy standards. I accept there are prototypes, experiments, etc. My rule is that my personal loadout is chronologically correct. I keep it simple by going by year

Moscow- 1941
Stalingrad, Rzhev, Gatvutu, Guadalcanal- 1942
Tunisia, New Georgia- 1943
Normandy, Hurtgen Forest, Bulge- 1944
Berlin, Burma- 1945

So yes I would use the FG 42 in Tunisia since it entered service in 1943

I don’t know about you, but on the russian-language forum this attitude is called “They’ll eat it up anyway.” If you agree to such “compromises,” then the developer may even decide that why make new maps if you can give one new map a year and everyone is happy with it, since “it could be worse.”

First time I’m considering not renewing my Premium Account and even stopping playing altogether. 2025 has been easily the worst year in Enlisted history so far, and this is the nail in the coffin. People beared with some historical inaccuracies due to balancing reasons, but there is no good reasoning behind opening all maps to all BRs other than to cater to some whiners that, deep down, only want good map variety in their prefered BR to play.

Instead of working on developing more maps at a faster pace, which should’ve become the priority ever since last year, you are catering to some short-sighted people that can’t wait for new maps to come and childlishly refuse to change their BR lineup to play different maps.

I hope this test crashes down and acts as a wake-up call for “Darkflow” to put some effort into the game, because so far 2025 has been dogshit.

I agree of all content what we really need is maps and battles, but all maps all BRs is a good thing. It’s good for them to finally scratch that off the list

Make more unique maps is the right thing you have to do.

Same.

Been playing since day 1 of OBT and always got the premium account.

But this may sale – no.

We have received zero steps towards WW2 since the merge and a thousand steps to War Fortnite: Vanguard.

It isn’t, because as KeTTka says:

Many players were too short-sighted as to put preassure and patience to get more map variety in their prefered BRs, and have been asking for this idiotic “open all maps to all BRs” garbage for many months. And seeing how the pace of new maps has drastically decreased, this gives “Darkflow” an excuse to make even less maps because “there is so much variety now that people won’t ask for maps as much as before”.

Y’all are killing the game, which is turning away from its original vibe more and more and becoming a Battlefield V knockoff.

As others have mentioned just give players the option to select map preferences and untie BR to maps, then people that just want more map variety will be happy, and players that want to hold on to “Historical Accuracy” or “Historical Authenticity” will also be happy

You want to run BR 5 gear and get a larger selection of maps? Then great you can do it.

You want to run only 1942 to 1943 gear and get maps that mostly go along with that timeframe? Then great you can do it.

Hey this game may not be perfect, but it’s a whole a lot better than those trainwrecks

we dont have that so thats the current problem the first thing they should be doing is adding that before opening the flood gates to any maps

How about this?

  • add BR6 and put all the fakes there (Autohei, T20, Fedorov, AS, RD, Hyde, Hori, SU-9 etc.)
  • make BR6 ±0 MM
  • open all maps for BR6 and even free for all factions
  • keep BRs 1-5 normal WW2 with normal map distribution and without prototypes powercreep

So the “I don’t care about WW2 I just want to use the best guns and win” players can enjoy it there?

I only think BR 6 is necessary since eventually we will get Maus, E-100, etc

Unless do you think those vehicles can work in BR 5

Allies BR 5 will be in shambles then.

Go to hell! seriously WTF.
The point was to have low BR somewhat early War gear coupled with early War Map to have some resemblance of WW2 Historical respresentation. I want MORE authenthicity in the form of BR taking years of service into consideration as well as type of weapon/role on battlefield.
I want realism and historical immersion.
I definetely don’t want less! there was the joke we had with merge that ohh noo game is ruined with Tiger IIs in Moscow and ruin immersion completely, and now you want todo that?
for the reason of less queues? I don’t care Fck all about waiting 1 min or 3 if that gets me better matchmaking and historical gear to according Map. hell 5 mins I’d wait.
put each team 3 Players then rest fill up Bots idk, most players in Enlisted are as bad if not worse than Bots anyway and mostly I wonder how terrible as a players you really can be, I’d say 70% of players in matches I question really how bad you can be. So no problem with bots for me or few min extra queue.
What I don’t want Is fictional Gear/Map matching.

I still use right Squads with that Campaigns weapons and roleplay to feel the immersion I like casue you guys fkd that up with the Merge

Well, thank you for putting such a test in the middle of a double event. I already stopped playing Berlin before the big merge because I hate the maps; and now I only get Berlin, Berlin, Berlin, of course as always with BR +1.

They can add whatever they want there – IS-3, T-44-100, Maus, Turtoise, AK-47 ‘early’ for all I care, as long as BR6 doesn’t mix with WW2 BR5.

Mega buff Tommy 50, send STG-44 to BR6 or mega nerf it? I really don’t care about nerfs/buffs if they provide the required balance.

Actually, the more I think about it, the less sense does this move from “Darkflow” make, even from a financial viewpoint.

Many whales/dolphins have expressed, several times already, that moves like these would be huge turn-offs that would lead them towards not spending ever again.

Meanwhile I haven’t seen anyone say “if you don’t open (insert map) to (instert BR that said map isn’t available to play on), I’ll leave the game”. There is no tangible benefit for this move, and even if they argue this is “only a test”, it already is scaring mamy people away from the game, as it showcases the devs clearly have their priorities weong, and the vision they have about the game has clearly shifted from what it once was.

This can be yet another Steam release situation. Hopefully it isn’t.

Well germany ingame barly has prototypes so it would retain basicly all of its equipment in BR 5.
The stg was mass produced so it certainly isnt a prototype.
