I think this artificial way of ‘balancing’ needs to stop since this doesn’t take account the playerbase trends that are constantly changing whenever something big is announced or released.
Some worst offenders like Moscow and Stalingrad Soviet at times earning no tickets at a cap at all even below 800 tickets or Allies in Normandy get bigger ticket bonus and bleed slowly while Axis don’t but the real problem is the trend of the playerbase have already changed at some point with German players went to Berlin so Allies started picking up a fight again in Normandy but the cap times, ticket bonus and bleed didn’t get an update since then.
How the hell Germany in Berlin still get much bigger ticket bonuses and faster cap times despite Soviets constantly getting stomped for months over an unfavorable playerbase trend? No more giving crutches on weaker faction through cap times and stuff related to tickets but instead actually give more incentives to play like an xp boost depending on how bad the situation is like Berlin Soviet could get triple XP right now along with an extra boost in ranking point for playing the harder faction(e.g. battle hero on the losing weaker faction gets the same bonus as a normal winning one with battle hero).
Of course these need to be fixed but instead we keep seeing low quality plays with poorly balanced teams because of the playerbase.
Tunisia Axis is completely unplayable, Normandy Allies wins most of the time, Berlin Axis dominates, Pacific Axis is just a bot farm with constant wins, Moscow Allies is even but you win as them most of the time anyway. Stalingrad Allies feels pretty hard to play and win without abusing kv-1 and t-34 because your tickets are so few.
It’s obvious that devs don’t play their game in public matches, if they were they would do some changes to the balancing of the sides, You hated some posters that mentioned that fact but that’s the truth.
excuse me? stalingrad soviet are struggling? are you kidding me? have you even play a single stalingrad game before this? i have been farming axis stalingrad for month after jungle fire and it is hell for axis idk what you been on but that is simply not true unless that not the point and i misunderstood but i think stalingrad soviet deserve it rn since most player are playing that side not axis only in stalingrad tho idk about other map cause i havent play them for month
Depends on the timezone and server you are playing where certain hours favor certain factions or get more populated but this is also one of the reasons why balancing through manipulating cap times, ticket bleed and bonus is bad for the game.
Also which faction has the best unlocks like King Tiger in Berlin is going to get stacked anyway. Imagine if they actually play their game on the live server instead of the more controlled test server with people test stuff like bugs and other things but this is not the case obviously.
hmm i see but imo as of rn i really cant sympathise russian player at all in stalingrad but yea if i play the russian side i would use the kv1 and only kv1 cause it almost impenetrable as long as enemy dont know where to hit as for the ticket problem i cant think of a solution i was just confuse on what you mean

When a level 1 Moscow Soviet player drives a T50 that was exchanged for a gold card, what does a level 1 German player have? When the Panzer IV F2 is strengthened, who do we rely on to fight against the T34? Panzer IV E bought with money?
All these imbalances have caused the game balance to tilt, and now developers want to right it but they are opposed by vested interests.
The German forces in Moscow and Stalingrad could slow down the occupation and reduce their manpower, but at what cost? Why should ZH29 fight AVS that can shoot fully automatically? At least the US Army has the M2 in Normandy. Although it is not as good as the FG42, it can still fire fully automatically. What kind of garbage is the ZH29?

The Soviet army in Berlin does need to be strengthened, but Moscow and Stalingrad? Forget it, I use the Soviet army to massacre the German BOT in Moscow every day. When I open the T50, the low-level German players can only rely on the damn Stuka. When I massacre them with the PPD, their MP40 and MP28 look like a joke to me
They tried to balance it the wrong way without putting the playerbase trend in mind like German players would rather go to Berlin to get King Tiger than suffering in Moscow just for a Panzer IV with long 75. Getting T-50 with gold card? A free to play player has to rely on luck to have one of the login bonuses get that gold card though and there’s plenty of options not just T-50 depending on his preference.
Forget about buffing or nerfing factions on this topic and focus more on a much bigger problem that exists across all campaigns where weapon and equipment imbalance is only a part of the problem when the rest of the problems are caused by both the playerbase stacking factions the developers spoiled too much with the cap time, ticket bleed and bonuses along with the developers themselves for not acting on the changing playerbase trends caused by big announcements or release of new updates like recently being the addition of the King Tiger.
Developers may not even know that their decisions regarding their way of ‘balancing’ is being abused by a part of the playerbase causing imbalance in population along with other bad game design.
There are a lot of T50s in Moscow. Most players in this game can afford T50s. They only need to buy a pass to get a gold card.
If the game cannot achieve the most basic weapon balance, what I mean is that if the AVS is a fully automatic shooting rifle, then its opponent must also be a fully automatic shooting rifle, not a damn semi-automatic rifle

Your idea is too complex and I do think this is not going to populate the likes of Tunisia Axis or Berlin Soviet since there’s no incentive to play them. Even matchmaking mechanics like Paradivision suggested an MMR system in the past were ignored by the developers but this is not an Esports game like Counter Strike or Starcraft.
Faction trend is like Twitter trends or some other social media platform(maybe Weibo in your case) where in the case of this game is which faction and campaign is popular to play now which one of them is Germany in Berlin because of an iconic tank known as the King Tiger got released on a recent update. Its like people care more about the King Tiger than the IS-2. Its much worse on other campaigns like why Germany got a copy paste Panther from Berlin for Normandy while Allies got a new Sherman or another recycled gun from Normandy for the Allies in Pacific.
I have been suggesting incentives to play the weaker faction on both XP and ranking points sure if may not completely solve the faction trends on the playerbase but atleast there’s some reason to go for a challenge instead of the current system where some people hate themselves so hard that they resort to masochism by torturing themselves playing a one sided match with no good reward.

Played Berlin Allies today to grind, won 1 out 3 matches which isn’t good but not horrible either.
All matches had both sides full of players, the problem was the lack of experienced players as noobs kept frontally charging with mosins without rallies against Similarly armed Axis who had built rallies and played tanks with skill, I know rusky mains love to blame Tiger II spam for this but we only faced Pz IVs and Panther Gs so it was clearly a mismanagement of resources.
Berlin is very well balanced with only a few exceptions, nothing as bad as KV-1, Jumbo or automatic spam (Normandy Mp40 no counter till lvl22, Tunisia Sten).
The problem is the players base that will rage quit the first second they encounter resistance or a map/game mode they don’t like.
From what I’ve seen here the Soviets do not need a bonus for playing Berlin they have plenty of powerful weapons in that campaign And they’ve stolen our STG so they don’t need anything All they need to do is work at it.
Yes the playerbase imbalance like one side is full of noobs while the other is filled with more experienced players even if the German team only had a Tiger E at best while the rest being Panzer IVs and Panthers.
Plenty of powerful weapons but what the Soviet need is an actual competent playerbase and I’m sick on shouting on noobs where they are only cannon fodder with the lack of competent players since most of them went elsewhere or the German side because of not being the meta and the faction trend not favoring Soviets in Berlin. Its not even middle point but more leaning towards Germany. Right now its just pointless to play Berlin as Soviet most of the time as experienced players will stack Germany anyway since the merge announcement and the release of the King Tiger to unlock much of Germany’s best stuff.
No ‘powerful weapons’ can stop the stacking and the playerbase imbalance. Not even the IS-3, T-54 or Kalashnikov rifle can fix this problem as long as no incentives to grind for campaign level or rank on a side clearly not favored by the trend of the playerbase.
because the campaign is hard and there’s too much competition to level up does not mean the other side should be rewarded because they don’t wanna fight a hard battle and yes i would agree with you about the ticket drain but there’s no reason they should be rewarded for fighting a hard campaign otherwise what do you say about Tunisia.
I have been actively playing Berlin for the past 1 year on both sides and I don’t belive that this system caused my unfortunate defeats.
While Im not sure how reinforcements are calculated, I don’t belive that Axis would really receive a decisive bonus or at all, on the contrary I noticed that allied AI carry better gear than their Axis counterparts.
