SITREP №1 - Operation "Transparency"

On some Berlin maps you can blast open some windows and build a sandbag so you can climb through it. AI can’t do that and will try to go through the grey zone (and die).
Let AI avoid grey zone and stay where it is if it can’t survive grey zone damage on its path.

I think it is more an example of really poor execution of a change - the ammo belt of that a/c is so basic to it being useful, and they either didn’t think about it or thought about it wrong… TWICE!

I appreciated this original post very much!

(I do not appreciate that 22.11% of responses are from ONE player (67 posts out of 303) spamming the thread as usual. Ridiculous.)

  • Buff German infantry weapons of BR2, BR3 and BR5. They are so weak that it’s not worth playing at those BRs.
FNAB, M38/42 of BR2 need their faster rof and we need Steyr MP40 with 1100rpm at BR3.
  • A couple of German planes need to get downtiered especially after you just added XA-38
  • Downtier:
    Firefly (BR4), Panzerwerfer 42 (BR2), Flak88 (BR3), TZ-45 (BR2), Mbk42/Horn/STG45 (BR3), M1918 (BR2 with some nerfs), Thompson M21/28 (BR3)
*Give us new German, American and Japanese drum smgs at BR5.

Oh, and they should add the M21/28 back to the Soviet tree. Otherwise, I feel like the suggestions should please everyone. Key word being should.

Because Japan has too many things that don’t exist or are imaginary

Map filters!? I take this as a win!

Penalties for desertions are silly however.

@MajorMcDonalds I wanted to focus on this part a little. so I made a Topic with feedback

Better fix charge bug. It affect my soldiers every single match so don’t lie to me that you can’t replicate it.

I’ve heard rumours from several forum members, but do you have any actual proof?

I do not watch the staff movement when it comes to this game but from what dregomz said in the past in the screenshot the rumors might be true but one thing I do know I’ve seen a decline in the quality of the game.

That definitely is fact. I trust Dregomz, being a closed beta tester (since he would’ve dealt with the developers directly) and having 12.7k likes. I’m pretty sure Comrade Sina had a snip from the Russian forum, but again it’s just rumours.

XA-38 is going to be trash and largely unused - same as A-20’s

When remove 17pdr from USSR and Pak40 from Jap?

Actually, they’ve already come out, for example you can use Japanese soldiers to duel with Soviet silenced snipers in Burma or Rzhev in the Metal Storm event, or in the all-map melee later, so they don’t have to make new maps, haha

Yes this is especially true of the Skdz251/9, on Normandy and Rhez it can’t even get over a mound or hill, which has a raid on there… Big Action dev fixed all of these, he said it was traction related if that helps, he changed a simple value.

The Khalkhin Gol river was the border between Manchu-kuo and Mongolia, so technically this whole region is “Manchuria”.

However, BR 1-3 battles will have little if not nothing to do with the actual “Battle of Khalkhin Gol”:

Things like T-34, KV-1, PPSh-41, PPS-42/43, IL-2, T-50, A6M Zero, Ho-I didn’t exist in 1939, not to mention more fictional items like Uragan or Fedorov 1912 which were also obviously not used there.

The most modern things seen during the real battle of Khalkhin Gol were BT-5/7, T-26, BA-10, I-16, I-153 alongside Ha-Go, Chi-Ha, Ki-27.

Similarly, BR 3-5 battles will have nothing to do with the actual “Manchurian Strategic Offensive”:

Ho-Ri, AutoHei and Tokyo Arsenal fighting against AS, AF, RPD and Su-9 is anything but “Manchurian offensive”.

The real fighting in 1945 saw a Soviet mix of early T-34-76, BT and T-26 tanks still stationed there alongside the newly arrived T-34-85, SU, ISU and Sherman tanks against the poor Japanese souls still in Ha-Go and Chi-Ha.

With that in mind, neither “Khalkhin Gol” nor “Manchurian offensive” will have anything to do with real battles in the slightest, beyond a couple possible scenarios:

  1. BR1-only “Khalkhin Gol”:

More or less believable combat between BT-5/7 + T-26 vs Ha-Go and Chi-Ha.

  1. BR 2-3 “1945 Manchurian offensive”:

Very slightly believable combat between PPSh/PPS + T-34-76 vs Type 100 late + Ho-I/Zero.
