Sell legacy squads in the store | Enlisted is a WW2 version Pokemon

I am willing to pay gold.

The legacy squadron that existed before the merge has no way to obtain it now.
And Vet players can sell it and turn it into a little silver, but then they will never get it again.
I don’t think anyone would actually sell it, but maybe some people would be foolish enough to do so. Also, someone who started playing the game after the merge might want legacy squads.
So, please make legacy squads available for purchase in the store.

If you want to play with more BRs and build more decks, you can build your deck more freely if you have a legacy squad. You can even buy a lot of extra slots to build a mighty deck.
I think it would be a bit of income for Darkflow to have legacy squads in their store as well?

Postscript.
The fun of Enlisted is not only in playing against each other, but also in collecting squads.
So this is practically the same as Pokemon.

I finished the grind for all factions except Japan before the merge and retained the legacy squads without selling them. Only Japan I forgot to get. I want the Japanese legacy squads.

There is no such thing. The reason of having legacy squad is because nation have several same type of squad across several campaign. Since Japan has only exist in Pacific campaign pre merge, there is no legacy squad for it.

They should just copy WoT concept.

The way it works in WoT is that once you get a new tank on a new BR for a faction, all legacy tanks of that faction and the BR you just got are unlocked for purchase.

This means that if you just unlocked/purchased a tech tree Engineer II squad for the Germans in Enlisted, the store will unlock all German legacy Engineer II squads for purchase.

It’s that easy.
But they do not want support legacy squads because of poor UI. That’s why they have created the sell button for legacy squads in the first place.

I think balance is also one stuff that they considered. For example, Germany has tons of legacy squad while Japan has none. Some players will complain that Germany has more legacy squad than them. It will create a lot of unnecessary drama.

It doesn’t matter. Just create a level III version for all the squads (classes) that don’t have it yet. This means that each faction will always be able to cycle the same squad if the player sees fit. (Yes, I am against any limitations.)

Plus stop locking vehicles to only specific squads. That’s pure toxicity.
Currently US can’t even pick two Shermans with 76 gun, mewhile Germany can take 2 Tiger II simultaneously.

The more freedom players have, the better. I don’t think cycling is toxic. Toxic can be only the squad that’s cycled. And thus better rebalance of said squad is needed.

Since most of the meta squad did have level III version, I don’t think this is the problem.

If there is a solid reason to have legacy squad that is not related to cosmetic, then there will be a unbalance between factions, I mean any unbalance that give any advantage that is solid enough to have legacy squad.

Well, engineer doesn’t. And especially for Japanese, 6 engineers with type hei auto are quite the good squad.

Well, the only very significant reason are vehicles now. As I have mentioned above.

Can be easily solved.

If you want to spam SF rifle, you can just bring a 9 man rifle man squad.

Look at OP’s reason, it will still bring unbalance to faction.

You can have only 2 engineers in rifleman squad.

Can you please quote what reason do you mean?

I just want Italian and British squads which I didn’t unlock in Tunisia.

Like Italian assault squad, I guess.

But for silver/event/XP, not for gold.

Why are you so obsess with engineer squad? I mean it is good, but what is the point of bringing 3? Are you gonna build at gun or aa gun 24/7?

Huh xD I personally wouldn’t, but I know few “bob the builder” type guys, who would definitely appreciate it.

I believe everyone should have ability to choose to play the way he want. And thus I really do not respect any attempts to force limitations and restrictions over other players.
I believe all classes should be allowed to be cycled. And things that are toxic when cycled should be rebalanced, not limited nor restricted. That’s my point of view.

This has nothing to do with balance. It just saves you some time.
Plus as far as I know. Devs already working on feature that will save equipment on soldiers in BR presets, thus this argument is going to be meaningless in future as well.

Well he did mentioned buy extra slot to build a mighty deck. You might say that you only need 3 squad to cycle. But even if it is the same type of squad, you still can choose the squad composition and the weapons on the soldier according to different situation. This may cause unbalance.

Well, then the better solution would be to make new “legacy” squads.

And for example, the Western Allies should get a British squad to complement every American squad.

Meaning, for every US I/II/III/IV squad of every class, there should be British squad as well.

This way even new sub factions (nations) could be added to the game.

Well here is the problem. There is 96 legacy squad for Germany, 46 for USSR, 48 for US, 0 for Japan. So in order to have same number of legacy squad as Germany, USSR need 50 more, 48 for US, 96 for Japan, total of 194 legacy squad is needed.

Well good for US, but what sub faction are you adding for USSR and Japan?
Also, if you add more squad for Italy, the total number of squad needed for other faction will also increase.

That’s not true.
Since you are still limited by slots. If I remember correctly, you can use max 8 infantry squads in one line up if you have all 10 slots that are available.
(and I really don’t know a single person who would put 8 squads of the same class to his line up, seems extremely unpractical and very boring).

In reality, there’s really not needed more than 3 squads of the same class. Since thats one cycle.

We really do not need to mirror exact number of legacy squads of all nations.

But anyway, even if we would. It’s nothing hard. Since Japan and Soviet doesn’t have unique squad symbols.
All that devs would need to do is copy paste previous squads and change numbers of battalions (etc) in it’s name.

Seems like you just want to oppose this legacy squad suggestion just for the sake of opposing it.

Obv, sub faction are something that’s unnecessary, lol. There’s no need for all factions to have subfaction.

Btw. Soviet Union could get several squads of non Russian speaking people, since Soviet Union really wasn’t made of only Russian speaking people.

I h8 that limited Slots BTW…
Every Preemi Spuad should have its own Squadslot.
So i could ran out with 20+ different Squads and i would use them all.
But Freedom in a monetized Game is rare…

I think that new G98 Event is a test for Community because we did get that Gun a Year ago.
Maybe they look how the community reacts when they bring old stuff again.

I missed 2 Event Squads and if they bring Squads i already have, its OK for me.
