Your theory is built under they did stop lock vehicle to specific squad.
If they don’t you will still need those legacy squad to bring the vehicle you want.
They still need dozens of them, especially for Japan.
Tons of extra work. It may potentially mess with unlocking certain weapon etc.

please do bring back BP and event weapons, I dont mind getting more of them.

Well topic got a bit derailed but originally the suggestion was the ability to buy legacy squads.
legacy squads are squads that are no longer unlockable through current progression (so its free) but were unlockable before merge by playing certain campaign.

Well, that’s completely unreasonable argument. Otherwise we would need all factions to have exactly the same number of premium and event (especially in the matter of vehicle squads) squads as well.

Well, current legacy squads work fine. I don’t know why new ones should be any different.

If they keep locking the vehicles to certain squad.
Then Germany can bring multiple high br vehicle because of legacy squad. So we need new vehicle legacy squad that can bring high br vehicle for other faction to counter it.
Current stuff are fine doesn’t mean duplicated item of current stuff will be fine, it may have conflict.

Legacy squads cannot use new (post merge) vehicles. And new vehicles are mostly higher BR/endgame ones. So this wouldn’t solve anything.

Germany has 2 premium panthers, premium Jagdpanther and so…
Meaning, you can cycle 3 panthers without even owning any legacy squad.
That is for the old legacy squad, we create new legacy squad by copy pasting, then we can just copy paste the current tech tree squad to achieve it.
Premium squad is out of scope, we are talking about normal squad.
