Return of FF to Counter bigger HE: Discussion

the kick is only for extreme cases. like the guys that will get a kick out of doing it over and over on purpose…but I suppose reflection will do the same thing

only if players desert(or people are in crossplay off match). otherwise game is full of players on both sides.

well not really…its the same principle as if they were players…if they are on the point, thats where you want them…Dont HE them

I’m partial to this, because I remember how it was as well…

I just don’t know if it would be good or bad.

There’s situations like old times:

  • friendly call arty on a forward position. No ally there. Then an impatient ally charge ahead and enter the red circle. Gets squad wiped. Cuss at the friendly radioman who then gets kicked for team killing.

Or

  • player A gets team killed by accident by player B. Player A is a petty kid. Decides to hunt down and greif player B the remainder of the match never doing enough to get kicked. Builds tank traps around his tank etc.

I’m not sure. I personally managed well during that time, but I saw things… and know how the average player can be…

So… I’ll be fine in whatever situation. But I genuinely do not know if it should be back or not.

i think it would be ok as an option in customs. that way you can harmlessly test it in environment with more hardcore players and see how it affects the game. although i expect results to be only fraction of impact it would have if they introduced it in MM.

Isn’t it already there?

I think LF has friendly fire on, and you get kicked after 3 team kill or something

Big action Mod had friendly fire on HE a few builds ago. He did trial Full friendly fire but your own Squad AI keep shooting you in the back lol

so toned back down to HE only. Not sure if its still in or not

LF yes, but squads iirc dont have it.

this is what happens when i have bot control RMN-50. enlisted has really stupid bots…

yup they are really dumb…i just checked…Yeah hes still Running full HE friendly fire and has been for over a year.

Then there should be a visual distinction between team and opposing artystrike on the map.

honestly dont know why the team one isnt blue already :man_shrugging:

if they both kill the same, then distinction gives marginal benefit. if FF is turned off, then distinction really helps.

Darkflow recently argued that in combat, you can’t distinguish between friendly and enemy artystrikes.
I disagree – radio operators should be able to relay this information to the team…

I dont know if its just movies…but they are always going on about what’s going out and what’s coming in…and different sides artillery sounds different…

It’s not just in the movies. We knew about supporting fire from artillery and aircrafts - even in active combats.

Hmm, maybe, but I think implementing that change will bring more negative things than positive.

And, honestly, if I’m already a little tired of dealing with tryhards (I play for fun or to accumulate points when there’s an event), I don’t want to imagine what would happen if we ran into players like the ones described above.

A bad idea and thats because ppl who shoot there own team, in hll we have TK’s and especially when someone is commander i play that game some times but enlisted is far better than HLL and should stay that way.

But if really should be implemented in game than it should be a hardcore mode or realistic mode,
What i mean is like WT an Arcade and realistic mode.
Same what i mention it about bigger mapsfast game and long cuz that maps becomes too small and should come the time where lower gen console should say “good bye Enlisted” then we can have greater stuff in game what makes it more realistic and “colorefull”

waiting for this to become reality.

Well they cant shoot their own team with this suggestion. only HE them…and If the reflect damage option is taken.,…they only kill themselves :man_shrugging:

Yeah i read at it again then i saw my mistake
