"Replacement" tanks to balance vehicles in battle

dont be selfish, vehicle slots should be obtainable without gold anyways.

I feel that in general people should use whatever vehicle they chose to bring to battle and no matter what do your duty to support the team. Sometimes I feel like playing a Panther, sometimes Panzer II

I’m still gonna use whatever vehicle I feel like :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I agree. But that’s how it is. I paid for something. And now the value is being reduced.

They should increase the number of tanks available per team in that case.

How the P-47 against the Germans

Another update which promotes sleaziness instead of teamwork.

Take a plane and bomb (or kamikaze) a grey-zone tank ?

No. Better to rant on a forum, surely Gaijin will do his best to make a cheap game for everyone

Matchmaking is, and as the playerbase continues to grow, much more commonly +1/-1. This is simply by the rules of the matchmaking, this being a preferred rule. Sometimes though, as it is a soft rule, it will expand it to BR 1-3 and 3-5 if necessary, as a “fall-back”.

The measures being taken in this news are to minimize the problems for players should they enter a “fall-back” game, but having the ability to “expand” the matchmaker when it needs it is fairly important for now, at least. Who knows what might happen in future though as the playerbase takes off even more.

I think a feature like this will help newer players and hopefully increase retention and player count. I hope newer player oriented features like this will be a predecessor to an actual matchmaking rework if the player count gets higher.

But other things could probably be added like a better tutorial to explain the very complicated uis and such to help new people

I think it’s potentially double edged sword. And it could be harmful to first impressions new players are going to have.

I still don’t see how the positives clearly outweighed the negatives.

But my view may be distorted or biased. So I really can’t tell for sure.

You really just gonna leave out the Pz III N like that?

Cool! Try using solid shot instead of APCBC with filler for your 75’s

So 76 Sherman or M18 GMC. Got it

oh yeah, KV1 would absolutely destroy US tanks

Honestly I think the crusader would be fine against it.

Stuarts though?

I shudder at the thought of it.

Thank God I ain’t gotta fight the Sovies as the US!

oh-no-anyway

Yeah reworking matchmaking would be a much better way to help newer/lower level players. I’m hopeful this will help but I get what you mean, it just seems janky and weird.

A 6 pounder can front a Tiger, irl and in theory at least, in game its far more questionable, I do wonder wtf happens to 6 pounder rounds often.

Like the news!

But please now consider this:
Most new players don’t realize how big a disparity it is between BR I-II and V.
They shouldn’t be sent to the shark tank regardless, but atm it is what it is, all people having acess to high BR by just buying a GO weapon or premium squad. Or maybe just playing the recent event.
But you should really think about improving the the UI for players queing with mostly BR I-II stuff and having one single high BR Gold order gun or one single event/premium squad .

Add a warning when <10% of a players’ gear is the highest BR or something.

Click battle and get a pop up warning you have to acknowledge or dismiss. There should always be be a notification and a box you can check to turn it off, of course.

You can also highlight in red a single weapon or squad that drastically differ from your typical load out - stuff that will get you heavy uptiered.

Click battle and get the pop up. If you want you can check a box to never be reminded again.

Simple.
