I understand you mean rally point. Well, bad luck. The enemy found it and instead of destroying it, he mined it. War. When it comes to mining exits from normal spawn points, just start watching your step. Mines are part of war, whether you like it or not.
I don’t agree.
If one wants some spawn protection, default spawns on maps are a way.
There must be a risk to spawn close to the point, and, a reward for the enemy that played the cards right to counter the enemy rally spawn
And this comes from a guy that died a billion times to mines on rallies
How I also love to place a cheeky mine in a rally or, barb wire it into oblivion
Putting your rallys in bad places. Its no enemys fault. There is no spawn killing here.
There is always a way. Barbed wire, at mine, ap mine , TNT. Spam ap mine around the rally
this type of reasoning doesnt make any sense, why would you blame people for not using mines on their own rallies? by that logic everyone should use mines - which ultimately means no one is getting spawn killed. Why then not simply remove this nonsense all together? whats the point in demanding players to place mines at their rallies?
except that respawning on the default spawn is completely useless and is a simple way to lose the game. Rally points are the basic mechanics of the game and you should not be discouraged from using them.
but it is there, if you build it too close you can:
a) have the spawn blocked by a close battle
b) someone can destroy your rally point which requires some effort to place.
anything more than that is overkill.
I can say exactly the same, I have died many times from mines on rallies and I have planted many of them too, but I am against them. I have yet to see an argument that actually make sense why we should keep having mining rallies a thing.
I like to put TNT in the APC and wait until a large team respawns there and then blow it up. Or any. On average, players have 6 soldiers in their squad.
So far, I’ve had a full one once, it was just leaving, but it was full to the brim like a school bus. He drove into my anti-tank mine.
Your reward for destroying enemy rallies is already important: victory.
Even if you disagree, what you personally like doing is
There’s a reason pretty much ALL other games of the type, frown upon this, sheesh.
unbelievable…
Just build your own Rally and mine it.
Dont abuse Players which are creative.
If i Bombrun you will lost your complete squad too, or if you run into Artillery… Holy
there are a large number of players who consider it harmful to the gameplay, every few days there is a post about it, I hope that the devs will do something about it despite the lame arguments people give.
Well if those players actually exist get all those players to start working together and make a petition where you all show how much you hate AP mines
collect signatures and send by post
Whatever works and whatever makes it so we have less Topics in the forums talking about AP minds
There’s indeed more ppl than I thought, who dislike it. And they’re usually the silent ones, like the OP. First time here.
Those against any spawn rules, are just the same ones who like to abuse the game flaw in the first place.
Why is it indeed a “flaw” and not a “feature” like griefers claim?
- Because rallies become grey as soon as there’s the slightest form of combat or enemy presence nearby. Mines spawn killers (and barbwire trolls), are merely bypassing the protection using a loophole. If it were a feature, rallies would remain “blue” and ppl could “braaaaap” ppl popping out with concentrated fire while remaining 10m away.
Anyway. It’s unsurprising of this community.
on top of that there’s no real way to disarm the mine without destroying the rally point, so if you placed the mine you’re gonna get at least points for destroyed rally point.
Pfff Yeah Creative like those people who just carry impact nades and AP mines with every soldier like our PsychoParrott to the point where even his pilots and tankers have them?
I feel this creativity.
I wouldnt mind it if
a) AP mines wouldnt be so easy to deploy (apart from the sometimes buggy animation)
b) impossible to disarm without setting them off
I also remember that the devs once said they nerfed their activation time or something so they dont keep OHK you but I cannot feel that.
On a completely neutral and logical standpoint, I feel we are in the right,
Because parrot disagree
It’s usually a pretty good indicator…
I like this argument.
Though sometimes devs’ actions seem so random I’m not sure if it’s true
its pretty simple in HLL and post scriptum.
If there are players in close proximity to the rally It flashes red warning you spawn at your own risk. You could extend that to mines I suppose…then players will have to gamble on, is it just a nearby squad?..or is it mined?
Generally I just take it as a given that Rallys are “spawn at your own risk”, even without an indicator.
