I don’t have as much issue with new additions as I do the stability and bugs that have creeped up as of late… Like the squads getting stuck in the floor or stuck in a room on spawns etc. Also we’ve had issues with complete teams getting dc’ed during matches and I’ve gotten kicked right at the beginning of matches twice over the last week. The train escort mega lags… weird textures on explosives, “missing face” soldiers etc. etc. They claimed they were going to fix joining late and now there are times when I can’t even load in until the other team has already set and almost detonated the bomb on destruction maps. These issues were non existent for me prior to the last few months. Now they’re going to introduce major things to the game on top of it. Hoping once they implement the big update they go HARD cleaning up the bugs. Game is in need of TLC with regards to the bugs as well as implementing new maps/features etc.

He’s in third place. Say him and everyone below him ARE noobs, what is the matchmaker doing wrong here?

I’ve got the same problem as German in Berlin, too many matches in a row are not fun at all. I get first, second, third a lot, easy, but not in the good way, in the rest of the team were bots or joined recently to replace leavers way.

Keep making fun of the score for third place on the team. You’re underscoring his point, the teams are unbalanced.

Guy in first place on losing team could have one kill and you be like “probably a bad sniper”, lol

@Conscript_Joe @Shiivex
my condolences!

Axis has serious playerbase issue except in Normandy, since like for 6 months or more. Ironically there’s higher playerbase in Italy than in Berlin Axis

is a difficult question, as I can tell you that I am happy with the development considering that the game amuses me and is really fun to play, at the same time I can tell you that the absurd waste of potential given by the current ineffective progression system has practically blocked the wings of the game making it impossible to modify the old campaigns because of the “levels”, considering only the development side (not gameplay) I am not happy with how the game is managed in the long term due to bad basic ideas and an abysmal slowness in fixing simple things like the “p38 which occupies two slots for planes” to name one that has been present for 1 year or more.

Cause its true

Wow look at all that vitriol and judgement.
That was not a good game.
Its precisely why I posted it.
yeah I got 21 kills.
At 21 kills you should not be the 3rd highest score on the team.
I should be able to do much better, and I have.
Hard to get more when the ‘team’ is getting mowed down and pinned down.
I say ‘team’ because we had 9 ‘players’ (mostly likely bots) that burned up tickets like crazy.
Look at the ‘guy’ 2 places below me, he burned trough 10 squads for only 8 kills.
The next 2 ‘players’ combined 14 kills for 17 squads.
so those 3 bots cost 27 squads for 22 kills.
So my lowly 21 kills for one squad lost looks rather economical by comparison.
The game is based on spawn tickets…right…
My team had at least 6 people dropped the other team only 2 dropped
The opposition had 9 real players we had 4 real players- a complete mismatch.

And that is the problem.

I play these games for fun, and if the game is not fun there is something wrong with the game.
And that was the point of this thread.
Scroll up guys, the question was:
Are you happy with how the game has developed?

The answer form me is NO, and to be constructive I attempted to explain why so the developers might be able to fix it.

And I already answered it.

Your post was like a rant after one bad match where you can’t even be responsible enough to blame yourself for your pathetic performance.

The game balance could use some time in the oven, especially after major additions to campaigns (Panther A in normandy, T-50 in Moscow at the moment). Playing musical chairs with the balancing is just going to lead to the same path it did for Overwatch. It punishes players who like to stick to one or two campaigns and rewards players who are constantly hogging the most op campaigns at the current patch, not to mention creating a huge inbalance in the playerbase leading to most games being pubstomps (I remember when Axis was in the same boots the Allies are in Normandy, Jumbo players being able to grey zone camp the entire game and being invincible. Now it’s basically the reverse except they added in the Firefly premium squad which can deal with Panthers, but it’s a premium squad…Also there is the M10, which I haven’t unlocked yet so can’t really say anything about that, it might be a good counter to the Panther, it might not, I’ll see).

Other than that, I’d say I’m very happy with the development of the game. I have no campaigns maxed out but I have been playing the game since basically they made it open beta and I have seen the ai of the squads get reworked like twice, played trough the launch of both Berlin and Tunisia, lived trough times when you couldn’t just smoke barrage and capture a point for free (reliving those memories nowadays since 1 in 10 players use the smoke barrage unfortunately).

I can say that the game definately improved a ton.

  • I remember when I had to leave Enlisted in the background to wait for the academy trainings to consume the souls of 2 chosen soldiers to enpower the third one, so I could more efficently do it every 5 minutes (up to like 5-8 hours when training 5 star boys).

  • I remember not that long ago when I had to mash my enter and space to quickly buy a ton of random weapons so I could mash space and enter again quickly to craft them into weapon parts to upgrade a weapon like once.

  • I remember when you had to manually switch to the gunner in your tank to shoot. Also tanks had garbage optics with like 2x zoom by default and 4x when pressing right click.

  • I remember when you had to wait for a minute before ejecting from your plane to use your equiped pilot on the battlefield, but even then, you had to time it so well that 99% of the time you either crashed into something or gravity killed you, basically rendering ejecting useless when flying a damaged plane

  • Remember when literally the only way you could earn bronze weapon and troop orders was trough the daily missions which was reworked into the battle pass system? (You could only complete 3 the same way as now unless you had premium, which I did not at the time)

  • I remember when Lone wolf was a separate que like squads is now? (except nobody played it since it turned Enlisted into a generic grindy ww2 shooter with unneccesarily large maps not designed for 10v10 gameplay)

  • I remember when there was a bug with the Puma that caused your commander to be able to punch when looking trough the hatch (it wasn’t useful, but it was funny that it only happened to the Puma).

  • I remember when with mg’s you could literally jump around and kill everyone in sight (unlike now, despite what allies mains would like you to believe lol)

  • I remember when the leave que button literally didn’t work

  • I remember when most of the mission in the two existing campaigns were conquest (Fortified District in conquest mode is a crime against humanity)

  • I remember when we weren’t playing cs running faster with our knives out.

The game improved a ton and I didn’t touch on a ton of optimisation changes, the battle passes, the new maps, the new hit or miss demolition mode etc, etc.

That’s about all I manage when DZ squad is out.

The game has absolutely gotten better over time. We need a campaign in the pacific, 1s spawn shield on rallies and some small weird things addressed like tanks getting stuck on tiny debris (Berlin specifically). I think the RMN-50 is overpowered when played to peak but it’s a gold weapon at least. The AI should use player rallies and if they do, it doesn’t feel like it

Lone fighters needs to be 20 v 20, I agree the maps are too big for the 10 v 10 format.
In the 10 v 10 format its more like ‘hide and seek’ but with guns.

Lone fighters is 25 vs 25.
Was always 25 vs 25.

bombing tanks with planes seems to be unrealistically nerfed.

A det pack, how much could it possibly weigh 2kgs? consider how far it can be thrown 30 meter at least in this game.

Its 2kg of explosives and if it lands on top of a tank the tank is usually destroyed.

But a 50 kg bomb falling from a plane at 300 km/h + lands on top of a tank, the tank survives, somehow.
just the kinetic energy alone from a 50 kg steel bomb at 300km/h hitting the top of a tank would be devastating, let alone the fact it then detonates on impact.

So if ‘Flank it ™’ is not an option and a plane is largely in effective despite a direct hit, not sure what I’m supposed to do, apart from; ‘Git gud ™’

I just played a game where 1 tanker and 1 (2?) sniper basically ripped through the defenses at Beloe lake.

My sniper squad was wiped out in under 1 minute and I resorted to aerial bombing. Its lucky i did, I destroyed 2 tanks, only 1 was ever marked and only marked once in the entire match. No one else on my team destroy a single vehicle. The opponents destroyed 8 vehicles. My plane survived the match unscathed and I did at least 8 bombing runs.

And once again MM failed to produce a balanced contest.

Not sure what more i could have done, but I’m sure all the armchair critics will will tell me I’m such a noob. Well guys I’m a filthy casual ™, I really don’t have much time for these games, I pay a couple of games most nights for fun. I used to much more serious about gaming, but I’m yet to find a current game which has the right mix or realism and balanced mechanics. FarCry2 was fun, BFBC2 was fun, FarCry3 was not bad, a bit cartoony but still fun.
I just want a balanced match. WW2 theme is fun. but balance is not here right now.

Some games you win some games you lose, that’s life. But a walkover is not fun regardless of which side you are on.
So without further ado the screen shot of another disappointing walk over.
Some of you will be pleased to know I got best in my team, it felt totally hollow.
I’m glad i was in a plane for most of the match, it was less time walking backwards.
