its basically the same as it was a year ago, the only thing that is good that was limited/nerfed was arty and planes bombs

Devs put a lot of work into the game. Even though I don’t agree with some of their decisions, I have a lot of respect for their job.

Not really. But I can blame only myself.
I’d say it’s kind of a wasted potential in some aspects.

Depends.
Things like bomb, arty, MGs nerfs were needed imo. Smoke arty, shovels and bikes are nice additions although except the first one they are basically useless.
But SF rifles for all soldiers and questionable in their form nerfs (like SA rof limit and no zoom for MG nests) are unvelcomed (to say lightly).

I think they’ve done a good job. They’ve updated the game regularly, added improvements, fixed bugs, and are unveiling a new campaign.

They also seem to value our feedback, which I’ve never seen before from game devs.

They’ve even made economy changes that in my opinion are superior to the old ones, which I honestly can’t believe with it being a FTP Gaijin game.

I’m more than happy with Darkflow right now.

The first time I played it I saw it full of bugs, OP planes, almost infinite artillery and several other things, but the developers managed to correct and improve these aspects, of course there are still several aspects to improve and polish, but I think enlisted is going well way and if we continue contributing we will achieve better things.
And if someone refuses to accept the improvements this game has had, they are just stubborn.

I think a lot of great stuff has been added, finally these are devs who at least listen to us. Not going to say much more, already been said.

I for one say a big Yes!

Yes and no.

dial down shot dispersion significantly and rework the movement system to have. actual time and animations between pose changes and this game will be gold. its come a long way tbh, just wish devs weren’t afraid to mess with current campaign items and placements. tunisia needs fixing.

Can you say something more?

Yes:

  • Game hasnt been abandoned yet
  • Game seems to run both state-wise and economical-wise
  • Fixes people asked for

No:

  • Lack of comunication and player participation
  • CBTs are pointless
  • Overpriced premium squads/ no fixes for them yet (and in the near future)
  • Broken economy
  • Nerfs/ “Fixes” no one wanted (SA-nerf)
  • Making custom battles unattractive by basically removing ability to earn xps and lack of filters
  • Constant introduction of powercreeps
  • Despite fixes etc, AI is still as dumb as bread

Most of what I asked for has been fulfilled.
Now all I need is a Static MG for each country, and a big gun that is present on the map from the beginning, and I’ll be happy!

I have mixed feelings about Enlisted.

I do like the game and have invested quite some time in it, and I am pretty sure if I hadn’t created a yt channel solely dedicated to Enlisted I would have quit several times by now. What really holds me in the game is other people, like @120062891 or Warpig or Tam and many others and my viewers.

The last content patch had for my taste way to many filler content, which was a huge let down.

While the economy changes are somewhat okay and streamlined that aspect of the game, it does feel way more grindy now.

Also when custom servers got added to the game, I was surprised that they actually did a day one patch to nerf XP exploits. Just in context that there is bugs dating back to the Alpha that have been reported a gazillion of times it leaves a sour taste.

While I do look forward to a new campaign I am worried that the playerbase will become even more spread out leading to even more bot-matches.

Yeah and on that topic, it sure seems that Enlisted rather does lose players over times, either that or I am just unlucky with the battles I join in.

All that out of the way, I do like Enlisted, because it is not as hardcore as HLL or PS and also has the whole squad mechanic going for it.

It does have a huge potential and I am for sure not done with it. I hope the next big update brings me back in, with new maps for the existing campaigns, new campaign levels with things I actually want to grind for and hopefully a new campaign that does not feel like Moscow 2.0.

  • Progression is still a mess. At least it’s no longer entirely lootbox-based, but it’s still dreadful. Describing this issue alone would require too much time for me to bother at this point.
  • Too much emphasis on timed content when base content is still sparse. This only makes people burn out quicker and doesn’t replace real, non-artificial / manipulative reasons to play. Daily tasks used to facilitate this are also a big problem - they don’t let the players to experience the game. Instead forcing them onto rails of tasks which aren’t even always possible to finish.
  • Bots and players still don’t mesh well (or at all) while developers still treat the two as mutually interchangeable.
  • Map structure is still a mess. Very often attackers don’t have the room for flanking and defenders don’t have the room (and reason) to spread out or organise forward defense.
  • Game modes are still a mess, some a lot more than others. Among other issues, too much depends on attackers.
  • Lighting and fog are still a mess. Trendy new technologies, implemented without care or reason.
  • Vehicle vs vehicle vs infantry interactions are still questionable at best.

That’s just major issues that are impossible to look past under any circumstances. In other words, it’s very far from what I hoped. I’m still willing to give it a chance, but hopes are pretty much gone.

Yes and no there are good things about development and some bad i do like enlisted i think its fantastic but like most games it suffers with bad choices in development sometimes. These bad and good things are.

—Can take too long to fix simple things—

  • failing to fix simple things with quick updates previously such as the shotgun and troop orders. It took months and months to fix these things and for quite awhile players were left without a reliable way to obtain new soldiers and this probably pushed a lot of players away.

—Progression—

The single linear progression tree does not really give you much choice in what you want to research next your forced to research something you will likely never use. Personally I would too see a better progression system with multiple options for research to give the player more choice.

—Bots—

They are still kind of bad.

—Lack of interesting game modes—

The current game modes are mainly just copy and paste from battlefield and they get very boring quickly.

—Needless copy and paste in certain campaigns—

I think a lot of people don’t like this i mean sure your going to be using roughly the same equipment especially if you are going to be playing Axis. However this could be easily fixed by adding more choice for weaponry across the axis campaign progression.

For example:

ZK-383 and Gewher 98 on Moscow early/mid progression.

More Italian/British small arms and equipment on Tunisia as Tunisia seriously felt unfinished with the lack of content and copy and paste from both Germany and America. There have been many threads suggesting what small arms and equipment should be added to Tunisia however i feel like it has fell of deaf ears.

—Update priority’s—

I’ve noticed that Stalingrad is going to be the next major update sure this is great however i do believe the current campaigns need flushing out with a better variety of content first. Also I fear Stalingrad may just be another Tunisia with unfinished content. Don’t get me wrong i do like Tunisia however equipment wise and with a few choices of the tanks it felt very unfinished and rushed.

—Lighting issues—

Currently while playing i have to take breaks as the lighting in this game honestly has started to hurt my eyes i don’t know if anyone else has had this issue. Everything seems to radiate this odd brightness while outside and inside areas are too dark. Please give us an option to turn off the lighting effects and bloom as its just a distraction.

—Premium squads—

I have bought quite a few premium squads in game and so far i love them however they do have some issues.

  • Some are far too expensive for what they are
  • Some were removed from the shop I don’t really know why this would be done because keeping them to buy at a lower price is always good as it increases the chance of people buying a squad. I do believe such squads as the Chau chat and mg30 squad were removed and a few others.
  • Premium squads still don’t have the normal consistency of standard squads you are limited to 4 soldiers per squad.

—Weapon dispersion—

On certain weapons the dispersion just does not make any sense such as the light machine guns this noticeable even when you move ever so slightly while aiming down sights the spread goes all over the place.

—The good things—

  • The maps are great as they have a hell of a lot of detail put into them.
  • The sounds from small arms to explosions are also fantastic however there may be a few that need updating.
  • The Squad system is great I love it its very unique.
  • The current choice for weaponry is also nice but I feel like there could be more choice.
  • The Animations and models are very good <3
  • The game in general is a fantastic idea for a game and i am glad it has gotten this far and i do hope it continues and gets better. I think the developers have done a great job so far even though there are some bad points.

the only shooter that’s worth playing right now,
fast time to kill, great settings, cool vehicle gameplay and big battles with lots of AI.

Brings back old original battlefield and red orchestra vibes, and who wouldn’t like to play that? gg devs.

I can definitely share the sentiments from @40946585 and say that a lot of me playing has to now do with the friends I meet more than the game itself to keep me going.

We need things like a basic MM to at least make sure there are an Even amount of warm bodies on both sides.
We need to find ways to slow down the gameplay at least a little.
Medics and Shovels were a good idea, but honestly pointless in the game due to its pace and structure.
I think that a medic would make more sense reviving a fallen solider instead of healing DBNO to have its value more in line with the game pace than what they are rolling out.

We need Mechanized Infantry squads.
We need the grey zone fixed.
We need a better infantry hard counter to Air Assets than what we currently have.
Premium squads of old need some love in terms of customization @Shiivex .

The game can be so much, and I am honestly hanging around in hopes that it becomes more than it is today.

Lots of good points I can only second!
Actually maybe just remove the grey zone entirely, I mean that would also give some more room for flanking, or long range tank engagements without being a “grey zone camper”. I mean in Heroes and Generals there wasn’t a grey zone neither and it worked … .

Love the idea with the medics, to make him revive fallen soldiers!

Ah, I just second everything you said, easier!

This sums my opinion as well. I don’t like every decisions the devs made it’s true… But the sheer amount of good decisions they made far outweigh the negative.
Really detailed maps
Nice new mechanics
Terrain destruction
Very VERY big amount of patches and new content…

And the game continues to grow.

I’ll keep enjoying it for a while.

Or in other words: “I dont want to walk 100 meters to play the objective, I would rather like to walk 300 meters so that I can spawnkill the enemy”
