Question to veterans: Are You happy with how game is developed?

Spawniklling is impossible due to spawn protection (also for tanks since recently).

at the end of the day, they will be like eng, placing health boxes to gain xp and they will be yet another assaulter soldier overall with less ammo.

i rather die and swap to another soldier than wait for a saviour. game too fast, pace too fast for coordinated actions with a team i cant speak on the spot with.

imo.

right now you can ask for ammo boxes or a spawn point, and no one will do one. why would you think after the initial impressions they will go reviving people just because?

from everything, the most important aspect the game is still lacking is comunication. voip, chat what ever. its a team game, with no proper ways to interact with your teamates.

stuff like this , shovels, and what ever, will never work or wont be worth spending time to do so.

5 seconds or what protection is not gonna stop ppl from going into the enemy spawn, laying mines, building AA guns, getting into sniping positions even BEHIND the enemy spawn points.

The grey zone is fine.
Then talking about camping tanks, they should stay behind infantry, cuz thats what tanks are supposed to do, and even as it is, tanks can be taken out rather easily now, especially with recent buffs to AT weapons, you can kill tanks with handheld Panzerfausts and such at 100m distance no problem.

I think his comment you quoted was in response to mine that had the idea of them ā€œbringing someone back from the deadā€ , which would work in concert with your playstyle.

You swap to a new solider, the medic on your squad revives a guy, and suddenly your squad becomes a bit more combat effective and lasting.

I do concur with your sentiment. It is fast paced as I had stated in my response as well.

but its rare, a downed soldier even lives after he gets on a downed state.

and on current mechanics, he needs a health pack to even have the option to be on a downstate. most will die on the spot once downed.

this will be nothing more than a option to refill medpacks. the revive system wont work on current pace.

but, i might be wrong ofc if they change how a soldier is downed with or without a medpack and in what conditions can one be revived.

Maybe I should have extrapolated a little bit on my on thoughts , I was on lunch so I cut my response to the bare minimum.
The Medkit system would need to be revisited , and make it so the only way up potentially is with a medic in place. Be it your own or a friendly one.

I’m just white boarding ideas that might make sense to the class introduction.
Game pace though needs to be reviewed and adjusted a bit to help make more of a case for them though.

He will kill one, maybe two squads (if he would build AAA or MG nest) and get killed by immortal soldiers. (Assuming he will get through the whole map with at least one soldier.)
It’s a bad deal imo.

Yes they should. But that’s not how it works now.
Tank should live long because of his good gameplay and teamplay. Not because of magical no-go zone.

Also if we were to take away grey zome camping tanks, we should also rebalance AT weapons because as you say they are too good to some degree. A tank outside of grey zone is a dead tank in most cases.

So far I think it’s heading the right way and the developer is aware of the bugs existing within the game.

The only thing I have to complain about the game right now is the fact that the Tunisia campaign is mostly either Destruction or Invasion gamemodes.

I’ve been playing for about a week in my PC (I’ve been playing longer in the Xbox) and out of the dozens of times I played the Tunisian campaign, only one or two times the Capture the Point gamemode appeared to me.

I’m not complaining about the campaign, I really enjoy it, it’s just it’s really frustrating only playing two similar gamemodes for about 80% of the times I play this campaign.

I’m only this angry because this campaign is my favourite due to the presence of Italian units and all I want is the best for this campaign and I’m sure the developers are able to improve the game even more.

If its a bad deal, why allow it to happen in the first place?

Or most people are just dumber than AI acoording to devs (said that numbers are constant growing).

Easiest short answer is… it is complicated.

Essentially, Enlisted has improved a lot in many aspects, however, I dislike the fact that it went into absolute arcade styled game that is willing to sacrifice at least some immersion it used to have.

Examples can be:
Weaponry that was never needed for balance and is very ahistorical… (saddest part is, that we went from disagreeing with it to acceptance stage) All that only to get few more levels to grind.

Any kind of inertia that we had was outright removed probably never to return.

Weapon malfunctions we had on at least some weapons were also removed instead of perfecting it…

Your choice of squads you are taking into battle doesn“t matter anymore since you can buy all the slots you want, making that part irrelevant (but at the same time double paywalling it and not allowing F2P to at least somewhat balance that out by allowing them to grind for at least vehicle slot)

Some weapons are outright irrelevant, some squads have no impactful purpose, and of course all that goes down to full meta that is given by the design of the game most profitable to run.

But there were of course also good changes, such as getting rid of lootboxes and RNG upgrades we had in the past and other quality of life changes, AI being worked on over the time. Also the events being literal oposite to grindy operations S.U.F.F.E.R./W.I.T.H.E.R/SHITYARD etc… is also great and shows that DF, while still having implemented questionable choices, are way better than how Gaijin directly develops their games.

Of course, things like fast cashgrabs called CBT are even more disheartening to see because it really gives you hungry Gaijilla vibes.

So, to conclude this somehow… no, the game is not heading the direction I hoped it would. There is way too much wasted potential and diversity that could have been affecting the gameplay instead of what we have got.
But it is still acceptable enough for me to still like it, despite the things with potential that I really liked during CAT/CBT are forever gone.

I tried it first a year back or so, paid for it because i plowed hours into it so I kinda felt they deserved it. Had a break for 3-4 months, came back and started the grind again. I like it, but i burn out every now and then because:

I feel there is a lack of diversity when it comes to campaigns, North Africa was a fresh change. But, it’s WW2 so what to expect? I’d love the pacific for a change of environment. Or Finns vs Soviets but that’s pretty much Moscow 2.0, although it would be cool if it was more focused around pure forest combat, as it was.

Not being able to chose game mode & maps is a big, big, big frustration for me personally and I bet a lot of others too. If that was implemented they’d see what maps are popular and also makes it easier for devs to polish those particular maps and game mods til perfection, and further enhance the overall experience for everyone = more money in the bag and better possibilities to further improve the game in the long run.

Those won’t be free kills. Player would have to put more effort than normally to get them.

It has gotten worse lately.

int he last few weeks the game has become more laggy with too many shots just not hitting.
Even leading the target does not help as the lead gap is not consistent.

the prone/standing dance exploit needs to be gotten rid of.

Tanks are now too hard to kill.
i just put 18 rounds of a fully upgraded PZ B 39 into a tank only to get a assist credit when someone else blow it up. In the past 5 rounds would have been enough.

Tanks are too strong against bombing by planes too, even weak tanks are surviving multiple bombing runs.
This is not realistic as GE was famous for precision bombing tanks.

T-60 is far too strong and far too common.

these problems have lead to one of the worst problems, too many noobs playing as i imagine more experienced players leaving the game.

Too many times recently have i witnessed a game full of noobs on my side.
Strangely not on the opposing team.

This match (invasion) we didn’t even capture the first base.

That’s not ā€œnoobsā€, that’s bots replacing quitters.

Maybe globally?
I mean I mostly play in europe and now that I think about it when ever I play in NA there is a lot more human players. In europe I even have at times full bot teams on my side :disappointed_relieved:.
Ah and ever since I (ab)used the custom server pre-XP-nerf I can distinguish bots from humans very easily: do not use rallies, do not use vehicles, always a squad of four with the same weapons, certain movement pattern, stick to the cap as if they are glued there … .

What’s funny is:

He thinks he’s not one of them. Yet he probably tried to snipe the whole match while the 1st guy in his team at the very least tried to storm the cap (judging by the squad death count)

In the end… please be very, VERY cautious calling others noobs…

21 min match.
21 kills.
1 kill per min. Lol
What a strong ratio.
I can’t even…

He probably trying to play this as hell let loose or Ps.

Still, 18 pzb shots to destroy a tank lol
T60 too strong.
Experienced players left.
Does 21 kills against the most average of average teams.
Calls others noobs.

What
The
Fuck.
