Some of Pacific maps have very good flanking routes on water and it would very immersive to have these lighty armored boats as vital part of the combat. Most of the time capture points tend to get more favoured for the defenders, because of long lines of sight and shallow beach waters that will make it tough to push through. These PT boats would allow more flexibility.

Where to find them
You would be able to spawn in them from the map overview and have the ability carry 2x squads at the same time. Boats would be located near the spawn area.
Mechanics
They would work just like APCs, but require one player to operate the boat to activate spawn in mechanic after you have sailed out of soawn area. When PT boat is inoperative it would respawn to it’s original location.

if you can translate the page, then here is my topic with river battles where such boats would be relevant

I’d love to see PT boats.
And bicycles.
Definitely bicycles.

problem: MAP DESIGN, most of the maps have only water in a bit, rest is mainly ground, useless idea till they add a map with MORE water load

Yeap, but it would still open up a flanking route that is only viable for boats and amphibious vechiles. Maybe in the future we would get larger areas for them. Small motorboats already exists in the game and want some big guns on them.
You’re an old H&G player, eh? ![ ](https://forum.enlisted.net/en/images/emoji/twitter/thinking.png?v=12)

I think the carrier should be a greyzone spawn and that should include pt boat based maps I want to see more of an emphasis on amphibious warfare in order to justify the amphibious vehicles. The Sherman also had had an amphibious model.

True. The only map it would work on is Guavutu and New Georgia
If we ever get battle of Iwo Jima carrier would work as spawn.
