Both the Soviet Union and Germany had panzerschreck, but the United States did not need such weapons. Instead, the U.S. provided the M20 Super Bazooka, giving it 280mm of penetration to pose a threat to Axis tanks.
Why would China’s museums have the M20 Super Bazooka? This was supposed to be a secret for the United States.
It’s a cold war launcher. Better add 3.45 in RCL Mk I recoilless rifle
Actually, it had already entered service by 1945.
This weapon looks like it’s straight out of Fallout 4.
It was never mass produced like Panzerfausts
US Army did not feel a pressing need to improve their anti-tank weapons after the conclusion of WWII. Small scale production of the Super Bazooka began in 1948, and full mass production began only in August of 1950.
This doesn’t affect joining the tech tree, does it? Production hasn’t been an issue for a long time.
Good point, but i wouldn’t mind them adding both launchers to their TT, one to replace Ofenrohr and another as new addition as we both know that Germany has two launchers at BR4 so why Americans can’t do the same? Besides they have USA/UK paratroopers with separate boxes which would fit right in and soon we will be able to pick up soldier nationality so my uk soldiers should be using their British RCL.
I’m just concerned about the production team’s efficiency. In China, these models only take one week to create and one month to fully complete.
Stop With the Modern Rocket Launchers! Return To The Classic Anti Tank Rifles
Captured in the korean war.
The tube yes but the launcher is the most simplest part of the weapon.
The rocket that did existed was tested and was stoped by the same amount of armor plates as the regular M9 they compared it to.
The 280mm pen rocket is indeed post war so it should not be ingame.
The Panzerschreck can penetrate the hull armor of a Tiger II tank, so the M20 Bazooka should be able to do the same.
“Classified” is not “entered into service” - it is when they have decided it has passed acceptable testing and they give it a service number - in this case M20.
In the very next sentence he says “it didn’t go into production until 1948.”
It had not even been widely issued by 1950 - all the infantry in Korea in 1950 and initially sent had the M9 Bazooka, as did the Korean forces.
The M20 was first used in Battle of Taejon, 18 July 1950.
The Chinese copy of captured M20’s is the Type 51 - and apparently they killed more tanks in the war than United Nations Bazooka’s did!
Since they are already mass-producing the Hyde and T20 rifles, the M20 shouldn’t be an issue either—let alone Japan’s single-d rare weapons.
You forgot the Su-9…
Enlisted has left history behind a long time ago - I’m jsut Mr Picky about people “justifying” stuff with BS - you don’t need to justify anything in enlisted any more - you can just invent shirt.
No, it cant… If you fell like you need to lie to justify your position then maybe you should reconcider your position.
But only if they give it fantasy rockets that did not exist for WW 2…
But then what is the point of getting detailed armor models if they out out fantasy values for penetration?
I did not lie. Please go to the editor and use this rocket launcher to aim at the position I indicated.
First of all, 280mm rockets cannot come out because they were only developed in 1948.
And even if it’s not available, there’s already a replacement.
Also, the reason why it shouldn’t come out is because 280mm is too high penetration, so it’s a BR6 thing, not BR5.
It’s so OP.
Therefore, it is reasonable in terms of balance to give T59 with 230mm penetration.
You can also increase the Panzerschreck to this value. In BR5 environments, tanks are extremely annoying. On some maps, they only expose their strong frontal armor to rain HE shells on you, while your allied planes and tanks are nowhere to be found.
