To be honest, except for Ho-Ri, 200mm is enough.
With this, there’s no tank I couldn’t destroy except Ho-Ri. (Honestly Ho-Ri is BR6)
However, 280mm is a pen that can be easily destroy at any angle.
230mm is suitable for BR5.
In addition, the official maximum penetration of the Panzerschrek is 230 mm.
(The Ofenrohr is strangely applied with a penetration of 200mm instead of 230mm. It’s actually the same 230mm.)
Didn’t see service till Korea - however as a HA enthusiast myself, even I will say that a super bazooka at least feels like a US weapon of the right period.
A prototype Japanese post war launcher can actually give the game a better WW2 feeling than Japs with Panzerschreck - as long as it looks like ww2.
Obviously this is a difficult topic, but maybe the devs could consider introducing top BR prototype launchers for events - so to see Allies and such have less German captured weapon on the field.
Did some attempts to replicate that shot on the practice range but the hull armor was impossible to pen on even ground. The only way it was possible was after I climbed ontop of sandbags to lessen the slop of the armor and even then it was barely enough.
So saying that the schreck has no problem with the front armor is far from reality.
So saying 280mm fantasy post war M20 equal schreck is just stupid.
