Good initiative, nice that Germany will finally also be able to use their own Panzerfaust 100 instead of it just being for the Soviet paratroopers.

Just a couple of thoughts and suggestions:

• Firstly, why did you feel the need to make every BR range box unique in every way? For example, why Gewehr 98 for I-II but the Pre-war Kar98k for II-III? They’re both on the same BR, should have gone with the latter on both BR ranges. Same goes for Ofenrohr vs Panzerfaust 100, they’re both BR IV.

• Why the specificly the MP 38 for BR I-II? Why not the MP 40?

• What’s the deal with alternating between MG and SMGs/ARs? Wouldn’t it make more sense to make a fifth category for specificly MGs, so you can choose what exactly you want to run with?

• Wouldn’t the Breda Mod. 30 make more sense for the Italian paratroopers over the ZB-26?

• Wouldn’t the M1 Bazooka make more sense for the US over the British Boys ATR?

• [Edit1: added this suggestion] Concider switching out the M3A1 for the M1A1 Thompson for the US, it’s BR II now so should be fine, also looks cooler. No idea which of the two was more common in US paratrooper service, but for aesthetic reasons I’d prefer they get the M1A1.

• Wouldn’t it make more sense for the US to have the Sniper M1 Garand over the No.4 Mk I (T), and then the M1C for both BR III-IV and BR IV-V?

• This is personal preference, but I’d rather have a British sniper rifle for both BR II-III and BR III-IV ranges, and saving the M1C for BR IV-V, to make the British more authentic.

• Could you switch out the Hyde M1944 for the M1928A1 Thompson 50 for the British? To again, make the British more authentic, as the Thompson was a weapon available to the British, whilst the Hyde wasn’t. [Edit2: added the following sentence] Also consider switching out their Johnson LMG to either the M1928A1 30 box version or 1918A2 BAR, prefferably the earlier, it feels weird for the Brits to have the Johnson.

Thanks again for taking the initiative to remake the paratrooper supplu boxes, I hope my thoughts and considerations will help in further tweaking them in the future, and I also hope you’ll be updating them as new content is added to the game, to switch out missmatched equipment by country of origin (such as a BR I British alternative sniper rifle, a scoped P14 for example).

it’s not just rumours. In game files generated by your devs talk about this very event supposed release date being few months ago and yet we haven’t got anything.

I doubt it was cancelled just restructured i hope with actual new map for both nations.

It would be stupid to cancel something when Tiger for Japan is fully playable in Editor, two avatars are also finished.

Both the Kriegoff and the FG42 grenade launcher share mags with this weapon…

As of now, Mortor only has engineer. That should be fixed.

I agree, but more because I think we should limit missmatched equipment by country as much as possible when there are alternatives that can be used. The Boys ATR is British, and does not belong in a US paratroopers box when there’s a perfectly useable M1 Bazooka going unused.

Breda Mod .30 is where it’s at for a replacement ZB-26 for the Italians.

Generally good idea, however there are 3 main concerns:

1. Boys ATR and PTRS are absolutely NOT equivalent to GrB, both USA and USSR should get M1 Bazooka at BR 1-2, perhaps with lower ammo count that usual. Also if we divide between American/British, German/Italian squads, they should get their “national” weapon where it doesn’t weaken the squad too much.
2. SMGs are highly likely to duplicate the weapons equipped by the player, so the current idea of getting MG via “Assault” kit is better. Just make them appropriate to BR (e.g. MG-13 and Breda mod.30 at BR 1-2 instead of MG34 we get now).
3. Lack of variation in the weapons you get between squads, e.g. now Soviet event squad at BR5 gets RD-44, premium squad gets DT-29 (should get MT to be real), the desire for variation mainly applies to said Assault kit MGs, but other examples are:
   -Germany BR 1-2 Assault and Sniper (Breda/MG-13, Kar.98/Carcano) BR 4-5 AT weapon (Ofenrohr/PzF 100), BR 3-4 Assault (MG-42/MG-34Patr.tr), BR 4-5 Assault (MG-42-100/MG-15/MG-81)
   -USSR BR 3 Assault (DP/DPM), BR5 Assault (MT/RD-44)
   And so on. I can make a full list of possible variables and basically do someone’s work if people are interested in this, just to see a feature implemented.

We analyzed your feedback and decided to add an additional rule: matchmaking will try to find the battle location that best matches to the participant’s weapons. For example, if the set of all your weapons when playing for the USSR is more consistent with the early period of WWII, then you are more likely to end up in the Moscow winter or on the streets of Stalingrad.

This is a soft rule, so it will apply as long as matching such a session doesn’t hurt your wait time in the queue

I made a quick change since there was a bit too much not needed changes there is some BRs that they better use the same old BR weapon since there is not better option not always is needed to have different weapon on higher BR since there is not yet enough weapons for this paras :

Question: When a Soldier’s primary and secondary weapons are the same. Has the ammo bug been fully fixed?
For example, the use of Soviet paratroopers in BR2 and BR4 .
2 handfuls of the same PPS43 and 2 handfuls of the same PPD40 are not great useful.

They will force my to always pick Uragan as primary for BR2. And for BR3 PPSh-41 box uses different mags than PPD-40 so they are not shared.

Shame about BR4 it’s Thompson or event/bp weapons or downgrading yourself to PPSh-41 box.
