Japan does have stuff, idk how often you go to the suggestions tab but every other week there’s a massive compilation of things that could/should be added for Japan.
Just to mention two

At the time, 3-Round Burst was a very unique feature, and if a weapon had this feature, the test report (including the test report of the enemy) would definitely point it out.
The G43 Kurz was once captured by the Soviets, but they only mentioned that it had a fire-control mechanism with two setting, automatic and single. And the German museum which exhibiting the G43k did not mention this feature too.
In this case, opponents do not need to prove that there is no burst fire, but supporter should prove that it can burst fire.
PS: I’m not discussing the game
Well then does that Fedorov have a burst or not?
Because if it is fantasy, so should the fantasy of the G43k be no issue.
We will see if Fedorov have any changes.
They better come up with a good source for this, otherwise I will be pissed to the max.
Stop with the Thompson spam! (sad japs get nothing unique)
But besides that, really cool weapons. Really like the wierd German MKb.42. Looks like a modern rifle with a ‘WW2’ skin.
And Federov … although I really doubt the historic authenticity of this thing, its does look cool as hell.
Most of them are just foreign copy, minor variant of tech tree weapon, stuff that are needed by Japan tech tree and uninteresting stuff compare to other weapon of this event.
You mean just like the M2A1 is a variant of the M2? I’d take a minor variant over another captured gun.
Also I agree they should add more to the TT, but I don’t think they would do that while everyone else gets event guns.
That is just lazy reusing BP gun on event in the first place.
Then you will heard complaints like why Japan is getting a lazy effortless gun that is basically a copy paste tech tree gun.
Doubt anyone would complain if we finally got say a Type Kō that wasn’t premium locked, or a ULMG (Type Hei lmg) with the 20rnd mag. Anything else would be better served in the TT.
Plus I bet some of the US players would be happy for a BR2 Thompson which on paper is just a copy pasted TT gun on a lower BR for them.
Idk what your point is anymore, like I said if there’s going to be an event for the other nations then they won’t do TT stuff for a single nation even if its needed, so could at least be something more unique than [captured gun].
Event locked isn’t that good either.
Straight downgrade from tech tree ones.
Did I said anything about adding them to tech tree now?
We should reserve it for the tech tree.
A capture gun that US didn’t even have is definitely more unique than some minor variant of tech tree gun that you can barely find any difference.
Ofc its not good but thats an argument against events themselve instead of this specific example.
Then give it more spare ammo, balancing isn’t just a single stat.
Your initial reply yes “they should prioritize putting Japan stuff on tech tree instead of locking them behind event.”
Unique how, its literally a Thompson with smaller mag and higher RoF, if they didn’t put it on BR2 there would be 0 reason to use this thing and even then the other BR2 TT Japanese SMGs are more appealing imo. They could’ve just went with the stick mag Toyko Arsenal SMG and gotten the same result from a gameplay perspective.
This 18 Round 試製自動短銃 could be a perfect replacement for Thompson 1921.
Did I said NOW?
It’s not like all Japan players use Thompson before. So it is definitely more unique than some minor modification of tech tree gun that they use everyday.
They don’t even perform similar other than similar rate of fire. Moreover it should be on tech tree.
Doesn’t really matter if I’m replying to your overall argument.
Not everyone is at BR4/5 or even if they are enjoys playing at that BR, but they might like that gun.
1200rpm vs 1040
18rnd vs 20rnd
vertical grip vs vertical grip
caliber is different ofc but a quick burst from either will kill a player.
Gameplay wise both are high RoF low mag capacity with a slight difference in DMG that would probably even out TTK wise with the RoF differences.
Anyways enough. If I see that correctly that might be you in the Enlisted Resource spreadsheet? I won’t compare the two guns down to ingame numbers because thats just pointless speculation.
interesting that’s for sure but even MKB/35 do the job better would have been nice BR III why not
Look at your argument again, if you are not talking about adding it to tech tree now, then why are you saying this?
So better put it on tech tree.
Rof and ammo isn’t the only stuff that affect how the gun feels.
Nope that is someone else.
I think what make the sight of the M2 and M2A1 carbine terrible is the 2 square shapes on either side of the circle. It make horizontal tracking difficult by blocking the target.
They should either remove these square shapes or make it thinner.
