Nerf those f-ing rockets!

They shouldn’t though that’s my point they can but it’s a more often then not scenario already. Buffing them doesn’t make any sense. It’s like saying oh I got shot in the lung might as well just shoot the other lung because we’re halfway there

You changed the argument, you were complaining that you get 200 kills in a plane so I proposed that you nerf planes against infantry so you can’t do that. However, to make them still worthwhile, buff them against tanks. Is that so hard to understand? Besides, the game changes things from real life, especially when it comes to rockets. The AT rockets infantry get have zero splash damage for a reason.

You only play on airplanes, right?
No, either both tech classes kill each other easily, or both don’t kill each other easily

8-14 tank kills per match when I’m on the plane.
Killed 5-7 with p38.
The opposing team simply did not have more, I would kill 20

Well this was really a response to the grey zone buff which made it even harder to deal with tanks camping in it, and seeing as the devs are unlikely to revert that change, I believe this is the next best solution.

I wouldn’t really say the AA is op that feels like an exaggeration

That’s still doesn’t mean buff them even more, they’re already incredibly powerful in the current state

“Something’s broken, let’s make it worse.” It’s just idiotic.
Pilots are the main whiners of this game. They are already invulnerable and they kill everything instantly, but they need more.

I play everything, when I need to and where I need to. I have notices tanks grey zone camp even more nowadays, and it was actually playing Normandy Axis that lead me to this conclusion.
Furthermore, as you have so clearly pointed out, the M8s and HVARs already oneshot German tanks, so this buff really wouldn’t affect them. Instead, it would realistically nerf them as they now are worse against infantry, and make it so that the WFR can also oneshot tanks in exchange for some of it’s anti-infantry power. So how exactly is this me calling “Allies suffer”?

It’s not about allies, it’s about tanks.
If planes crush them even better, then this class will be dead.

How am I making it worse, I am literally proposing alleviating infantry from about half of all CAS, as well as alleviating them from grey zone campers on all sides. If anything, this would make the game a better place for the majority of players, as at least 60% of them at all times have to play infantry.

Because infantry easily kills tanks already.
Return the zone timer and that’s it.
But the planes are broken. Missiles will do proper damage to tanks, I’ll take care of it.
I have a dozen comrades who play the game regularly and who do not use tanks because the plane kills out with impunity. They only fly planes.

Not with the grey zone changes, which is what I am trying to rectify.
Again, I do not believe the devs will fix the grey zone, as it is shaping up to be more like the MP 43 nerf than the rally point change, thus I propose this as an alternative fix.

Idiocy. Oh let’s break the game down even more, because changing the gray area isn’t enough. The game will turn into a circus, where you take turns changing different squads, using that squad against which the enemy is completely powerless.
Just stop it, it annoys me.
If you stress the gray zone use a grenade launcher or another tank.
The gray area will be fixed if the game is not broken even more

how would that break the game, the majority of players would get relief from CAS and while yes the 4 tank players in every game would suffer a bit more, the majority of players would benefit.

Sounds fair. So planes have to also hit weakspot of tank lets say cupola of commander or mg port with rockets.
Or direct hit with bomb.

Nah, I think just the roof would be fine, but if you insist you can make it so that they don’t onetap if you go from the sides or the front, I am willing to compromise a bit. Or we can nerf bombs against tanks so that they are primarily anti-infantry weapons, and then make it so that any direct hit from a rocket kills a tank anywhere, I think that would work as well.

So planes that move quite significantly faster require precise shot to critical part with flak, which is probably powered by mules judging by its super slow rotation.

While tanks that are at best entirely stationary and rather ez target to planes due to prolonged markers.
