I mean, the AK is the one people would rather mount on their flags instead of their trucks, so which one is the more symbol weapon exactly?

Without Browning there literally is no AK. He invented the wheel Kalashnikov used to drive with, so to speak. Browning made a significantly larger impact on ALL of small arms than Kalashnikov did. Kalashnikov helped revolutionize weapons doctrine and the evolution of military small arms. Browning single handedly changed the ENTIRE INDUSTRY with pistols, rifles, shotguns, machine guns, literally ever class of firearm he had his hand in and changed everything everyone knew about all of it. From helping Winchester produce more lever actions, to popularizing the pump action, to inventing THE modern pistol, to gas operated firearms, telescoping bolts, developments to even auto cannons, creating the HMG. The man MADE the firearms industry and firearms as a whole what they are today
If you want to go by that definition of Hypersonic, everything from the V2 to the Aim-9 Sidewinder is Hypersonic.
It’s literally cheaper to keep fixing and maintaining old M2’s than it would be to produce more. There are literally M2’s made in the 30’s and 40’s still being used, not mothballed in inventory, USED by the US military

Browning made the first gas operated firearm
There is no long stroke piston without Browning’s M1917 water cooled machine gun made about 30 years earlier
Ok, please me how Kalashnikov is supposed to even come up with the design of the AK if Browning had not demonstrated to the US military that semi-automatic weapons were reliable and cheap enough to produce en-mass resulting in the Garand, which Kalashnikov admits to taking design cues from. Or tell me how the Germans and Russians are supposed to come up with the concept of a massively produced assault rifle if Browning doesn’t help create the concepts around mass manufacturing complex weapons via his pistols and machine guns. Just because you are ignorant of the giants that historical figures stand on doesn’t mean they don’t stand on them.

All i see you are having problems understanding that Kalashnikov combined the best on the market if Browning did the same we would remember his product sadly all people know AK-47 its literally the most popular firearm since it changed the game…

Except people do remember Browning’s products? Just because you live under a rock doesn’t mean people can’t point to the big box on top of tanks, trucks and jeeps and call it a Browning. Nor does it stop literally everyone and their dogs from licencing the M2 Browning and the Browning Hi-power the same way people licence an AK or AR platform today.
