National holiday(s) events for more countries and some suggestions to go along with them

It’s just a common courtesy that should be given,we get one for the US in the 4th of July event (as well as a lot of smaller events) and not all the other nations do.This could be a good way to provide content for more minor nations that took part during WW2, So I’ll throw a few of those in here as well (note that I didn’t include Britain since they don’t have an official national day, otherwise I would have included them). So without further ado, here are some of the possible national holiday events for each nation, and a proposed low BR tank they can come with as an idea for them to have on said day.

Russia :ru:

the national holiday of Russia, known as Russia Day (very creative) is on june 12th,and commemorates the switch to democracy from communism back in 1991.

T-26-4
A version of the T26 with a different turret fitted to it with a low velocity 76mm cannon. This cannon heavily lacks in armour piercing capabilities compared to the 45mm cannon, only penetrating 35mms,but the HE shell has 30 grams more HE filler then the German short 75mm cannon.

France :fr:

Bastille day takes place on June 12th,and lies on the day of the storming of the Bastille in 1789 during one of their revolutions, and represents unity among French people.

D2
A french tank used during the invasion, has a decent, well rounded balance of armour and firepower for low BR,functioning similarly to the panzer 3J

Germany :de:

Reunification day, started in 1990 on every October 3rd,commemorates the reunification of East Germany to West Germany, making Germany one country again after it was split.

Neubaufahrzeug
A prototype pre war tank design (this one actually saw limited service in Norway) that would be a very unique tank for Germany. This tank has 3 turrets, similar to the T28,the main turret with a short 75,a 37mm,and an MG13;as well as a front facing turret with an MG13, and one rearward facing (I hope this one gets the gunner AI on the LVT-4).you might think i’m crazy for suggesting this to be on BR1,but that’s without hearing the armour values: less then 20mm everywhere (20 is the thickest value on this thing),so thin even M13s and T60s can chew through this thing.this tank would be a high risk high reward option for low BR.

Japan :jp:

National Foundation Day is on February 11th,and commemorates the founding of Japan by the first emperor taking the throne, starting officially in 1966,but existing as a national holiday since the Meiji period (1868-1912)

Ke-Nu
Essentially an upgunned Ha-Go that uses the turret and 57mm cannon on the Chi-Ha,would be nice to get a free 57mm cannon (I still think the Chi-Ha should be TT though).

Italy :it:

Republic day in italy is held on June 2nd,and commemorates the formation of the Italian Republic in 1946

M 14/41 (47/40)
A modification of the M 14/41 that replaces the dual 8mm MGs in the hull with a 13.2mm machine gun with a 30 round magazine.Due to the limited mag size,I don’t think this would be OP,and it would be a fun addition for Italy enjoyers

Hungary :hungary:

National Day in Hungary is the 15th of march, and celebrates winning the revolution and forming of Hungary against the Austrian Empire in 1848.

Turán I
A hungarian tank armed with a 40mm cannon,it has pretty decent armour similar to the panzer 3J’s ,and as well as some wire spaced armour on the sides and turret(little in game effect, but cool looking).Another unique feature about this tank is that is has a reverse gearbox similar to the Puma’s,so you reverse just as fast as you go forward.

Thank you for your post.

I like this idea.

Recently we had Australia Day (26th January) however I would recommend ANZAC Day (25th April) as Australia’s national day for Enlisted. It commemorates our veterans (I assume New Zealand is the same day).

I want more Australian-New Zealand squads, uniforms and tech in game. They could start with one of our national icons, the slouch hat being freely available as an appearance option.

DF already has a model for the slouch hat, digger hat AND lemon squeezer hat (NZ) from premium and event squads. These should all be added to freely available appearances.

DF has previously added the British Army peaked cap from an event squad (Sten Mk III) as a freely available appearance option).

The Bob Semple tank could be a fun New Zealand event tank squad (or April Fools?)

The only day we need celebrate is our Lord and Savior Browning’s birthday! Lol

Side note, I love that they made that event

On a more serious side note, suggestion sounds good to me. I’m all for some more cool stuff

You mean Mikhail Kalashnikov. He was far more impactful then any other small arms designer in human history since Johann Nicolaus von Dreyse.

John Browning had a very large impact similar to kalashnikov too. I would not say Kalashnikov is “far” more impactful than anybody else

Where is Britain?

I said it in the 1st paragraph if you didn’t see,but they don’t have a national holiday like everyone else,so that’s why.

Well, some English I know told me that their King’s Official Birthday or whatever is on a similar level because their monarch is sort of symbol for national unity.

Not at all Mikhail Kalashnikov and Johann Nicolaus von Dreyse made revolution in the small arms industry while John Browning just made a lot of weapons but none of them where impactful in the global stage…

No, I do not. John Moses Browning was the greatest firearms designer in history. Period. To this day all hammer fired pistols take design elements from the 1911. He designed the first over-under shotgun. The M2 Browning is still used by the US military to this day
Kalashnikov has a single claim to fame. The AK-47. The design of which was ripped off the M1 Garand. Browning pioneered new systems and firearms

Only in US ‘‘history’’ books AK is still one of the most produced Rifles ever there is a reason you have Kalashnikov AK-47 and Mauser Gewehr 98 at the top of most produced rifles of all time… xD

Or just some rifle, or even decoated Hi Power.
It doesn’t really matter what, it’s just nice to note other countries who fought, like those mentioned up, but also Canada… Australia… NZ… and even axis ones.

Other than just russia and usa as usual

Yeah it’s the most produced rifle, but the AK is the only part of his legacy anyone cares about. The AK is the only thing he’s known for. As far as 99% of people know and care, all he did was invent the AK. That’s it. Period

Browning on the other hand:
.25 ACP
.32 ACP
.38 ACP
.45 ACP
.50 BMG
9mm Browning Long

Multiple multiple pistols including the M1911 that revolutionized semi automatic pistols with innovations still used today and the Hi Power which served as the service pistol of, in the most literal way possible, almost every. Single. Nation. On. The. Planet.

Designed some of the earliest and the most prolific pump action shotguns, and one of the earliest repeating shotguns in history with the Winchester Model 1887 lever action shotgun. The first successful semi automatic shotgun. The first over-under shotgun

MULTIPLE lever action, semi auto, bolt action, and pump action rifles, plus the BAR which served extremely briefly in WWI all the way through Vietnam

One of the first machine guns to be entirely unique from Maxim’s toggle lock being the M1917, the M1919 which has been used in just about every conflict since WWI, and the M2 which is still used today along with some other machine guns that refuse to die in various countries around the world

This man revolutionized pistols, shotguns, machine guns, and rifles. He invented calibers and the most prolific guns to use them! The AK-47 and its many Com Bloc variants may be the most produced rifle in history, but that quantity barely holds a candle to the quality of Browning’s work
