MP 717(r) should be moved to BR 4

  1. I have been playing other games (Elden Ring Nightreign) for the last 4 or so days, and not playing a lot of Enlisted; so my aim is rusty and crap in this clip
  2. I understand recoil, I also (now this is magic) can pull down on the mouse, and pull the mouse to react to the horizontal recoil, instead of just letting the gun fly around. The Kiraly is NOT HARD to use.
  3. If you need a pro tip, take vertical recoil perks on your soldier, and use the crouching mechanic, this reduces the recoil by 70%! I also can just fire this weapon while standing.
  4. I can shoot an entire mag into a soldier at 50m
  5. When would you actually be shooting more than a controlled burst of 6~ bullets at a single soldier?

Bring back them to tech tree

Axis needs 5 BR smg and 717(r) is perfect for that.

BR 4 is hard to talk

Doesn’t really matter. Since there are still some classes that can’t use ARs.

Namely APC drivers, guerrillas, vehicle crews…

So it’s not like BR5 smgs are 100% competing with ARs. That’s simply not a case.


Plus full auto meta is already way too prominent in this game. There’s no need to further strengthen it outside of BR5.

idk if it is cause players are shooting mostly bots or cause playerbase is just terrible

90% of playerbase is hilarious.

disagree with that. in CQC you can easily spray and control any weapon. but on mid range you need some skill with most weapons. you may think that 16 recoil is nothing, but majority of players dont remember recoil patterns for different weapons, nor do they play more than 1-2 games per day to get natural feel for it. although pull down and left will work for most guns there are also some for it which wont work(e.g. MG).

Its not really question about can you or can you not control certain weapons recoil.
In this case the differency between 2 guns recoil is significantly notable.

This is exactly why Kiraly should be at BR4, you need to burst to hit most of your bullets and stop to not go all over the targets, your mag size is very limited while MP717(r) can just hold LMB and murder waves after waves of the enemies due it’s very low recoil and large mag size. It still can’t compete against ARs and struggles at BR5 but Kiraly struggles even more.

You just bursted at targets always stopped to move your mouse and then fire, it’s enough to reset the recoil.

I dont know mate, Kiraly is definitely harder to controll than basically all German SMGs, i dont know whats the matter with the recoil stats, but I feel a kick when I shoot it.

I can lock onto someone’s head with MP717 and go full auto and hit reliably up to 50 meters, but for Kiraly I would need to use single fire at those ranges or at least when the enemy has semi decent cover - that being said, its higher damage makes up for that.

I hate it when people use this logic.

Easy to hit and kill your target doesn’t not automatically mean easy to play - because ā€œeasy to killā€ also translates to ā€œhard to surviveā€.

I would turn it around and claim games with notoriously high recoil and very bullet spongy damage model are much more noob friendly because hitting your enemies is often determined by random factors, like managing to land a lucky headshot.

This would be true if the game didn’t consist of squads made up of bots. Bots that have been programmed to prioritize targeting other bots over players. Unless some specific requirements are met.

In addition, this game is all about the number of active rally points per team.

Good KD is not that important. It is not the main factor you need to win enlisted matches.
The more rally points your team have over your enemies, the less effective you need to be at killing enemies.

Meaning, FPS skill is not that important in Enlisted.


So balancing weapons should not be based on how effective a good player is with them. But how effective a bad player is with them.

In that context, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if high capacity zero recoil smg is above something like kiraly.


It’s quite obvious that Enlisted is tailor made game for casual gamers.

Even pace of XP/silver income is getting reduced if your squad is surviving for longer time. The game is literally rewarding you for dying often. Which goes completely against concept of good KD.
But it is true this is quite hidden thing.

Im pretty sure they target the loudest which is usually the player

i assume it is game mechanic cause nobody enjoys getting aimboted by bot from half the map. lots of bots die while you are leading them to cap, but even if you are first and clearly visible, they will die while you are not getting shot.

Well, the game doesn’t say it anywhere. But I’m convinced of that based on my experience.


A great example is when you are driving on low BR in a vehicle, most often the APC.

And your bots with MGs and BAs are literally mowing enemies down (that’s happening for me way too often). That’ll rack up like 5 kills minimum in a matter of seconds.

But I’ve never had shooter from an APC kill me like that. Nor ever heard any other player complaining about OP shooter bots from APCs.

And there are plenty of times like that when it’s especially obvious if you start paying attention.

Sometimes all it takes is just focusing/looking at them for a while. And they’ll suddenly turn on you out of nowhere.

And the closer you get, the sooner they get aggressive and start shooting.

Hmm. perhaps that is the case when the player isnt engaging. My experience seems to suggest that they try to ā€œrevengeā€ an actively engaging player pretty quickly.

I just havent seen anything written anywhere beyond ā€œthey react to noiseā€ā€¦and they certainly do that.

Well Im not complaining, but I certainly have…APC being my favourite squad type have mowed down many players (passively), and been mowed down on many occasions (from quite a range too).

there is aggro meter, but unless you pass certain level on aggro meter, bots will only engage other bots unless you are last one in the squad(even then they will ignore you unless you are really close). also you can reset the aggro meter by going behind cover(did this to get 140+ kills with one soldier).
