Now that Sales are on again and people expressing interest towards the Firefly (And hopefully The Mosquito for Enlisteds Birthday), I think its a good time suggest some BR attention to these neglected premiums. It may make them more appealing for sales so its beneficial As it is now, I cant recommend them (I have owned them for a while)
I will focus on Two Commonwealth Legends.
These two particular Commonwealth “Premiums” have been neglected since merge and as they are obtained by paying “supporting patrons”, it is good form to give them their proper BR attention promptly.
The Firefly is an Iconic Commonwealth vehicle credited with being the tank the Tiger 1 and Panther Feared
However, Currently it holds the rating BR 5, along side heavy tanks such as the King Tiger 2, IS 2, Ho-Ri and Pershing.
This is out of place, The Firefly has:
A BR 3 Sherman chasis (squishy)
no stabilizer (high gun rocking from moving, braking)
High pen but low after pen Damage
bad gun depresion
It would be in a much more suitable position at BR IV opposite Tigers 1’s and Panthers. (And strictly speaking the Panther would still be far superior)
The Mosquito is a “Legendary” aircraft that has not been represented well in its current state at BR 4.
It needs the newer flight model from Warthunder brought over and some ordnance improvements. It should perform better than a BF110 (which is BR 3) but it doesnt, while carrying a smaller payload
Short of buffing it, the short term solution is to move it to BR 3
Mosquito should be faster. Another issue is the way its bombs work. When bombing, the bombs drop together and land within a feet of each other.
A hole made from a single 500lb bomb vs the hole made by the pair droppped from the mossie are very hard to differentiate.
Not quite sure how bomb explosions works but it seems that two 500lb bombs landing essentially on top of each other is just wasteful.
For better utility, they should be dropped separately. Or if a single bomb drop options is preferred, the 2 x 500lb bombs should be replaced by a single 1000lb bomb.
