Exactly.
It’s why I was against the punishment thing to be added BEFORE real fixes to problems:
- with it already in place, there’s no effort necessary to correct the rest, they just need like you say, to post nice looking pr stuff…
To “sit on their laurels”.

It’s a start, however I would personally prefer an option for myself as a solo player to opt out of matches with groups entirely. Simple option box next to the choose any faction option box that says choose solo play only. Then I don’t have to worry about whether my team has two groups and the other three or four, it wouldn’t matter cuz I choose no group play.

Well, the punishment for desertion was implemented all wrong anyway. And as it stands now, it serves no meaningful purpose other than to annoy people.
Instead of punishing continuous desertion, they’re giving out a measly 20% penalty to income for every incomplete match.
They were supposed to start preventing you from entering a match if you deserted 2+ times in the previous 15 minutes.
That would solve literally everything. And not punishing everyone for leaving a match from time to time for whatever reason.
They just aren’t able to do anything correctly. It’s sad, but that’s how it is.

I would also love an option to voluntarily agree to wait as long as it takes (1, 2, 20 minutes) but not be sent to:
- low BR Berlin
- high BR Stalingrad and Rzhev
I will always leave those games anyway, so just let me opt out?

That’s what I mean: it wouldn’t, as long as all the rest isn’t done properly (matchmaker, map choices etc.)
It would just annoy people like you say…
To be clear I’m not against a punishment measure per say. I just want all the rest to be fixed AS WELL…

I have forced myself to believe that the old “Moscow 1941” is now just “Eastern Front”, because it doesn’t have any iconic real world building like Univermag, Reichstag or Rzhev cathedrals so it doesn’t make the eyes bleed that much.
Otherwise I would literally have to quit every single match on every single BR

It would annoy only people who were exploiting desertion to bypass matchmaking.
I couldn’t care less. Just because you are not satisfied with matchmaking, it doesn’t mean you have some kind of moral obligation and allowance to exploit other part of the game. Especially if it is negatively affecting other players.
They are all seperate problems. It’s not like we can’t have proper functional measures against systematic desertion until everything else in game is perfected.
But whatever. It seems, in the end, we are going to have nothing anyway.
I remember a post that explained how most of the buildings on that map were modeled after real places near Moscow. You can’t deny that it’s not Moscow.
I remember a post from you where you said you left several battle in a row. You can’t not use the AVT 40, but instead do a time travel. Of course you are free to play however you like, I just criticize this hypocrisy.
Well, I’m not looking for any competition or skill fights. This was the only screenshot I got of your tank. So it was the only evidence. But I’m happy with my score as a f2p player playing with BR2 gear in a BR2-3 match.

Yes, I leave every single low BR Berlin and high BR Stalingrad/Rzhev games because seeing biplanes over Reichstag or Tiger 2 near Univermag makes me very sad.
And I don’t look to get sad when I get to play my couple matches in the evening.

Unfortunately your Soviet team seemed to have gotten infested with snipers at some point and ran out of steam.

I remember fighting a Japanese game with Dregomz on my team a couple of months back, I said hi but he couldn’t recognize me by just the name.

My queue time is over 1 min so often that this seems unlikely to change much.

it wont work. battle queue is counted down from when first player joins, not when any player joins. you can wait 10 seconds and get to join queue that is already 2 minutes long.
btw i may be wrong here and it takes your queue time and not first one.
