I have barely an clue what that means but I think I got it.
they went with a ±1 stack matchmaking, which in actuality only prevents 0 stack vs 2 stacks. a once in a lifetime occurence, mostly. basically, useless. but it can be fixed. with ±0, for example.
How does this work with the group is recruiting checkbox?
Matchmaker for all nation âseparate entity groupâ rather than merging them.

anything outside of separate group MM will solve nothing. biggest problem with groups in MM is that you have sweaty clan going in game against casuals and just destroying everything. having ±0 wont fix anything cause there are lot of casual players that play with friends that stand no chance against clans.

Doesnât this still imply a quad stack can face a group of solo queuers? That is still a serious issue. How about you just give universal team chat to everyone so we can also have real time callouts instead of typing in a chat that PC players ignore and console players canât even use or see?

this is not out of the blue; remember they added a system (always on by default, silently reset to on after every patch) to make people form stacks, directly, with random people. meat to the grinder, so to speak.
but hey, im all in for fighting against clans stacked to the roof, if they add some little âoomphâ to the âmeet death face onâ MM queueâŠsomething like MONY. (hefty bonus to xp and silver for volunteering to the fireline).
after that, they can try ±0 stack MM, with some randoms going for the punishment, to get the rewards. but they must be REAL bonuses, not that 50% crap. you go in there to loose and die, so make it worth it.
Yeah, disbalance groups can be maximum 2 groups. The 3 paragraph Itâs for cases (if they will be), if mm cannot create a full team for battle

Which means;
- this updated MM, will not change anything as there wonât be any difference at all.

was that even a problem now? crossplay on is mostly 10v10 with rare matches after few minutes of waiting getting match filled with bots. only thing i see this affecting is console players which are filled with bots.
This will only make any sense if the groups are pre-defined stacks, rather than the recently introduced âopen groupsâ for all players.
These âopen groupsâ make no sense because they âcombineâ four completely random players in each match, often speaking different languages and having different goals.
They are nothing compared to coordinated groups of like-minded players who share a common language, often a voice chat, familiarity, and a common goal in the game.
Personally, I believe that âopen groupsâ should be abolished in principle, as they make absolutely no sense.
But at least they should not be equated with real stacks in matchmaking.

I just realized that, after 60 seconds, a team with 2 stacks of 4 + a stack of 2 (so all 10 players in groups), can face a team with a single stack of 2 players AND BOTS

This seems too soft of a rule to really be useful.
Can a helper or moderator explain this new mm rule concerning stacks? This doesnât make any sense. Either the devs are braindead or the wording is wrong. How is it difficult to have a strict mm rule to have equal stacks with the same number of stack members on both sides?
So it means one stack of 2 + 8 randoms against 2 stacks ot 4 + 2 randoms. Yeah, totally fair to me.
So in less populated server and faction, you can still have 10 randoms vs full stacks in just 60s of queue time? WTF?
