Making Enlisted a Better Place №50: Golden Jubilee

Each issue of our weekly series focuses on a certain aspect of the game or a particular mechanic, in which we correct smaller, but noticeable bugs and add new interesting features.


In the next major update we plan to please you with multiple improvements regarding weapon sounds, models and animations. But you can already notice some small, but significant fixes.

For example, we fixed the bullet deviation of the Webley Mk VI Revolver while aiming and the incorrect positioning of the charging handle on the MG 15 machine gun. If you know about other, non-obvious issues with the weapons in our game - please let us know!


We keep on restoring historical accuracy! Several German and Soviet tank’s gunner sight received adjustable magnification.

The changes are only for those vehicles, which had this feature in real life, but were missing in our game: Jagdpanther, Jagdpanzer IV, Panzer IV/70(V), Panzer IV/70(A), StuG III A , StuG III G, IS-2 (1944), SU-100, T-34-85, T-34-85 (D-5T), T-34-85E.


  • Fixed a bug that allowed the crew of an open cabin tank to be killed with a melee weapon through the armor.
  • Fixed a bug that made it impossible to repair a machine gun nest if the machine gun was destroyed by a shotgun.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Medics to throw away their Medkits box when picking up a weapon from the ground.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed certain classes of soldiers to be purchased for Gold in the Battle of Stalingrad campaign.
  • The “75th Infantry Regiment with MP 41” premium squad’s card now correctly shows the squad’s starting perk in the Battle of Moscow campaign.
  • The player will now receive an appropriate warning when attempting to dig under a placed but not built engineer structure.
  • The error window now closes properly when trying to send a complaint about a player with a too short reason.
  • Reduced the startup time of custom matches from 60 seconds to 20 seconds.

Now all that’s needed is a better XP system for it e.g you don’t get punished for playing custom matches more than the punishment for deserting a battle :eyes:

MP 38 still has the weird -Fly 94- tag on its top

Thank you so much, I just hope this is compatible with the kickass Big Action mod, seriously guys, it’s good, if it wasn’t for tasks, some clan mates need help to grind I would just play that.

Please devs help the modder, it seems that something’s removed from game which means he can’t use them, flak 88, kv2 and Jumbo 76 models.

On BA, I cannot earn XP and hope that you will recognize end gamers like myself will play this more than base. Just let people earn a downsized amount of XP. (This mod takes our under used vehicles and respawns them into something more useful, like a howitzer or mobile rally, vehicle ammo respawn)

Can’t wait to have adjustable zoom on my jagpanther and zoom and kill tanks 1000m away, which is real scale fighting.

Or use the new Howitzer to rain down artillery from backline 1500m away which is absolutely so f’ing amazing, sorry I know I’m hijacking this post!!! I’ll stop…

Keep up the good work, this BA mod will keep me playing after merge for sure though.

At this point I expect to get a smart gun from alien sooner than bipods.


Whoever keeps asking for sound fixes stop asking for it we need important things fixed not more sounds.



Mods should have only 10% of XP Granted (because of the risk of abuse, it should be low, but not non-existant) (0.10x).
Deserting should have 25% XP gain (0.25x)
non-modded Custom Matches should have 50% XP gain (0.5x).

I think that’s somewhat of a fair compromise all around. Custom Matches still have XP reductions, Modded Custom Matches give a small amount of XP, and deserting is punished more - that pretty much ticks all boxes that people ask for.

Oh and they can remove the unnecessary “if 2 or more players, XP given increases by this amount, and you only get Battle Hero stuff at XYZ number of players”, that stuff is just annoyingly unnecessary.


That’s true but when it comes to a mod being upvoted and being celebrated by the community I do not think that the XP nerf should apply so heavily.


Yeah I suppose so.

Perhaps if a mod gets given “Mod of the Month” or whatever it’s called, it gets it’s XP cap permanently increased to like 0.25x (25%), the same as the desertion.

But that might require a lot of reworking how mods actually work etc, and I’m not sure they’d put that much effort in to it, so idk.

They don’t have to do that you got half the community singing about how great it is so they don’t really need to rework everything just listen to the community instead of arbitrarily changing things because stats and statistics.

They could always add such great mods to actual matchmaking rotation I suppose.

Especially with the “merge” update, in theory it’d be easier to fit mods in without the campaign system.
