Each issue of our weekly series focuses on a certain aspect of the game or a particular mechanic, in which we correct smaller, but noticeable bugs and add new interesting features.

SHOTGUNS FOR THE MASSES!

We have seen your feedback that shotguns are not as effective as many of you would like. Well, we have a solution!

We’ve improved a couple of aspects of this peculiar weapon: reduced the spread when firing from the hip and increased the buckshot’s damage by 20%. We believe this change will be well received by everyone (except maybe your enemies). Double-barrel shotguns, TOZ-B and M30 Luftwaffe Drilling, have had their spread reduced even more significantly.

In addition, we’ve also chosen what we believe to be the most reasonable suggestion from the community: expanding the list of classes that can equip shotguns. Now even engineers can greet enemies with a one-shot! Hurry to the shop!

Sometimes your hard earned mines could disappear without a trace upon your first spawn in the battle.

Not anymore, we’ve fixed the problem!

“BATTLE” AND “SQUADS” TABS

Since the debut of the new Enlisted UI, we have been collecting your feedback and releasing improvements regularly. But this one is especially big.

The updated interface has split the first tab in the main menu into the battle screen and the soldier equipment management tab. This change was made to simplify the main screen, but we’ve received many requests to roll it back to the old way.

We did what you asked. The features available in the separate “Battle” and “Squads” tabs have now been merged back together on the main screen. Thank you for your contribution to making Enlisted better!

OTHER CHANGES

  • AI soldiers will not remain in light vehicles (cars, boats, motorcycles) if they catch fire.
  • Reduced the recoil of the Kiraly 43M and made it more predictable.
  • Corrected the text alignment in the weapon purchase window.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented anti-tank launchers from penetrating tanks at close range.
  • For gamepads, added a shortcut and a tooltip to enable the “Join any team” option when searching for a game.
  • For gamepads, added additional hotkeys in the “Custom Matches” menu and in “Create game” menu.
  • Battle tasks have been moved to the Battlepass window. The task list is now duplicated in the game search window.

Shotguns are fun.

Question:

  • can the semi auto shotgun from Pacific, and the pump action from Normandy/Tunisia ALSO be equipped by engineers? Or just double barrel shotguns?

Hopefully this yet another fix will solve the problem and it won’t come back after other future updates.
There’s still Thursday Friday Monday Tuesday, four working days before next Wednesday.
There is a great deal of content that needs to be published in advance
Some of the content involves legal and personal property issues

For the shotgun enhancement: personally, I think this could be a harbinger of things to come, with shotguns being added to the tech tree in the new version (instead of being unlocked by default in some campaigns), taking up a place in the grind, or perhaps a starting point?

I really have fun with those. Now my engineers will mostly equip those in all campaigns for the fun of it.

remove sway from Wz. 35 when sighting in

Very nice add, how about having the 3rd ammo in the “Drilling” ?
Have you planned to fix the reload for some weapon ? using 1 ammo and reload 2 slots of 5 is very excessive

faster fire rate for semi auto shotguns and revolvers
slight zoom in when iron sighting for shotguns and pistols just like the other weapons

More ideas? Sure
-VG 1-5 available for every class, like Shiivex said (and many others)
-Fix bipods. Make them auto deployable
-Fix some animations like the G41 reload or the cal. 50 belt that does not move when firing
-Reduce dispersion. Period (but especially for semi autos)
-Buff pistols a bit, especially revolvers (and they reload time)
-Add default (and historical) decals for tanks like the stars -white for the USA, red for the Soviets- or the balkenkreuz for the Germans, all of them free
-Better faces
-More customization option

Could the M30 Luftwaffe Drilling also get a third shot as it has that third barrel for a rifle cartridge? I would be kind of goofy to shoot twice and have the third be not shotgun related but it would be cool.

since it’s a double barrel shotgun Could we possibly get a perk reload faster so we can keep in fair competition against machine guns they have more bullets than we can reload
