no it isnt. battle rating is used to balance weapons in game. year of weapon/vehicle service could be used for determining battleground.
I agree. Semi-automatic rifles currently do not have any clear advantages despite being in a higher tier. Disadvantages are more prominent: lower rate of fire than SMG, bullet spread, ambiguous damage, etcâŠ
If you canât solve these, youâll end up in a tier nobody uses.
Even ranks 7 to 8 are in a very vague position.
The bolt action you used from the beginning is still valid. If you go up tier 1 or 2, the automatic rifle you see is much better. If youâre going to use these, youâre going to have to go down to a lower tier and do some research and then jump straight to the automatic rifle. Since they do not have a clear personality and strengths, they will be discarded sections.
Hello, Great Britain Deserves a separate tree, now you can create a complete development tree like the USA from what is in the game. This gives you the option to add campaigns like Market Garden and Landing in Sicily Italy fight. I think you should do the same with the Italians who also deserve a separate tree. Looking at how you constructed these trees, now it would be easier to make a tree of Allies and Axis, where there would be a bunch of different nationalities as you have now treated USA, GB, Ger, Italy
Hey.
Engineers are tier 2 and not tier 1. Really guys you didnât learn anything from Tunisia Engineer fiasco?
And tnt at tier 3âŠ
Good job, tier 1 vehicles are now the most op and resistant vehicles in the entire game!
A gun is a gun. It just kills. Normalization is done in games, and thatâs not good. The MP3008 should have the same damage as the MP40, and since itâs a weapon as simple as the sten because the Germans were to stop producing wonders, you have inventions like the VG1-5 or the MP3008.
Maybe you need to balance the weapon by the cost of deploying it. The more heavily armed the unit is, the more expensive it is when deployed.
But the problem is that defenders donât have deployment points, so you can always give attackers a battle point bonus for taking down better equipped enemies.
br from wt, it is
br for enlisted, no it shouldnt. I explained, u just didnt see
every nation will get separate tree. but that is for some future update.
- Suggesion- Drum mag Thompson is in the wrong tier, move it to Tier 9 for balance!
- Reasoning- Drum Thompson is currently set to be facing non-peer opponents like the Beretta (40). Thompson Drum is nowhere near the same level of effectiveness as this. However there is a tier which has much more comparable peers, that being tier 9 with the PPD40 (drum) and the MKb 42 (H). This would be a perfect place for the Thompson drum to slot into as it provides parity with what other nations have on offer.
ffs look at other topics related to merge. they said everything in there.
Putting TNT on Tier 3 seems to be to prevent TNT spam. Tier 2 has TNT charges and Tier 1 has various anti-tank weapons. Tanks located in tier 1 and 2 are all light tanks, and weapons that can penetrate Boys, PTRS-41, and GbR-39, so there is no balance disruption as expected. Also, the anti-infantry ability of these tanks is lousy. Small caliber HE shells are completely useless in the current game. I donât think they will ever be OP.
They are planned to have their own separate factions in the near future, possibly this winter. However, the 2 countries lack weapons in certain categories. For example, the British donât have semi autos and Italy doesnât have Anti tank weapons.
There is.
Before tnt, tanks will ONLY âfearâ the weak and ineffective AT rifles, that very, veeeeery few soldiers will bring.
After tnt, stronger tanks will be vulnerable, suddenly.
Also, no engineers at lvl 1. So no AT canon either.
Watch me steam roll newbies with my invulnerable t60!
The T-60 is currently missing from the tech tree. I donât see tanks becoming vulnerable beyond the tiers that come with TNT packs. TNT charge is much more accurate. It is impossible to hunt the moving KV-1 with the TNT pack. The same goes for other armor hardening equipment.
And panzers arenât going to change the game. It has turret speed and maneuverability that are far too slow to react to infantry.
That is why I argue that devs should lower the minimum tier for researching semi-automatic rifles. While semi-automatic rifles may seem fine based on their listed specifications, in reality, their slow aiming speed compared to other firearms and significant bullet dispersion put them at a disadvantage, except in close-quarters situations, where bolt-action rifles excel. Late-game semi-automatic rifles are slightly better in this regard, but the initial semi-automatic rifles placed in the currently available Tier 7 suffer from these issues too severely, offering little merit in their use.
Therefore, I propose compressing the tier placement of bolt-action rifles as much as possible (alternatives such as the fold equipment system introduced in War Thunder or the introduction of an independent tech tree that allows parallel research of bolt-action rifles). I suggest limiting the range to Tier 1 to Tier 3 for bolt-action rifles, and then conducting research on bolt-action rifles with Rifle Grenade from Tier 4 onwards. As for semi-automatic rifle research, it should be separate from bolt-action rifles and available for research starting from Tier 3. This can be achieved by introducing a separate tech tree.
the parts that need to be fixed
Magazine | Damage | RPM | Reload | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Beretta M38 | 20 | 6.8 | 690 | 2.2 |
MP 3008 | 32 | 6.8 | 520 | 2.5 |
Type 100 SMG (Early) | 30 | 7.2 | 520 | 2.2 |
M3 Submachine gun | 30 | 8.2 | 430 | 2.3 |
PPS-42 | 35 | 6.9 | 690 | 2.4 |
Moderate ammunition, comfortable sighting, low recoil, damage, RPM
Therefore, the PPS-42 should be located at a higher tier
Magazine | Damage | RPM | Reload | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Beretta M1918 | 25 | 6.8 | 1040 | 2.3 |
VG 1-5 | 30 | 9.6 | 320 | 2.7 |
MP 28 (7.65mm) | 50 | 6.6 | 550 | 3.2 |
M3A1 Submachine gun | 30 | 8.2 | 470 | 2.4 |
PPS-43 | 35 | 6.7 | 800 | 2.2 |
Moderate ammunition, comfortable sighting, low recoil, damage, RPM
Therefore, the PPS-42 should be located at a higher tier
The Soviet Union has poor anti-tank weapons
When other countries use grenade launchers or rocket launchers
The Soviet Union only uses anti-tank rifles
This is fatal for Soviet users of low tier
The three tier tank is out of balance
Some tanks (Ho-I, MkI âGrantâ) were mixed with tanks using a 50 mm cannon
compared to 75 mm cannon (Sd. Kfz.234/2, T-50)
There is also a difference in protection
Shotgun must be present at tier 1
The shotgun in the game is very weak Because itâs for close range only
Therefore, the shotgun should be placed in a low tier

FNAB-43 | 40 | 6.8 | 460 | 2.2 |
Type 2a SMG | 30 | 6.7 | 690 | 2.3 |
Lanchester | 32 | 6.8 | 690 | 2.3 |
FNAB-43 has a lower RPM than other firearms and should be located at a lower tier
Magazine | Damage | RPM | Reload | |

MP 38 | 32 | 6.8 | 570 | 2.2 |
Beretta M1 | 40 | 6.8 | 570 | 2.5 |
SiG M1920 | 50 | 6.6 | 690 | 3.0 |
Owen Mk 1 | 33 | 6.8 | 810 | 2.4 |
SiG M1920 has great performance
Large amounts of ammunition, high RPM, comfortable sighting, even compliance damage
The SiG M1920 should be located at a higher tier
MP38 and MP40 must be integrated
They have almost the same performance It is a waste to put MP40 in a higher tier than MP38
Beaufighter Mk X is too powerful
The Beaufighter MkX has eight rockets, a powerful ground attack
Beaufighter Mk X should be located in a tier similar to P-47D-28
VG.2 is located at too high tier
VG.2 has 10 bullets, but a low firing speed
It is very unfair to place it in the same tier as SMLEMK III and Lee Enfield No.4 MkI just because they have 10 rounds of ammunition
VG.2 should be present at a lower tier
Magazine | Damage | RPM | Reload | |

Armaguerra Mod. 39 | 6 | 13.6 | 350 | 3.2 |
Type Otsu Rifle | 5 | 13.4 | 420 | 2.3 |
Type 4 Rifle | 10 | 14.9 | 350 | 3.6 |
M1 Carbine | 15 | 8.8 | 320 | 2.6 |
SVT-38 | 10 | 14.4 | 350 | 2.6 |
Semi-automatic guns are so unfair
Guns with less ammunition or lower damage than those with high damage and ammunition (Type 4 Rifle, SVT-38)
At least Type 4 Rifle, SVT-38 should be located at a higher tier or other guns at a lower tier
SVT-38 and SVT-40 Integration
Theyâre guns that have the same performance
The open top tank must be located at a low tier(M10 GMC, M18 GMC)
These tanks are relatively vulnerable to infantry and are not as penetrating as tanks of the same tier
Therefore, M10 GMC and M18 GMC should be moved to a lower tier
Inequality in 8-tier machine guns
PPD 34/38 is a gun with a lot of ammunition and a high RPM
PPD 34/38 should move to higher tier
Inequality in the Nine Tier Rifles
ZH-29, Johnson M1941 is a semi-automatic gunner, AVS 36 is an automatic rifle
Semi-automatic guns and automatic rifles must be distinguished
AVS 36 must be in the same tier as AVT 40
The Fedorov Avtomat is an assault rifle like MP 43/1, StG 44, so the Fedorov Avtomat should be located in the same tier as MP 43/1, StG 44
MKb 42(H) should be located at a low tier
Although the MKb 42(H) is an assault rifle, it has the disadvantage of low RPM
MKb42(H) is suitable to be located in a tier one level higher than MP40
We only have all this crap because mentally weak CS or other arcade shooter players canât defeat a guy equipped with a stg44 or an M2 carbine with a bolt action rifle.
And now, when I enter a berlin with a BR 1 weapon, where there will be only ninja stormtroopers, will I continue to kill them with one shot or with the whole magazine?
Because I will drive PZII, T70 around Berlin, I will continue to shoot with Mosin or Mauser unless the creators extend the TtK even more.
If the matchmaking will use these tiers as base, it is a bad idea, what is wrong with tiers for progression and BR for MM? these tiers have worse compression than low tier jets in WT.
Rather ask on where we get players for 10 tiers.
Few things
-
Bring Semi-auto rifles down to tier 3/4, with less powerful ones like the M1 Carbine, Armeguerra and the Type Hei/Otsu/Ko at tier 2 matching the more powerful bolties like the lever/slide actions and the grenade rifles. Semi-autos have no business being that high in the tech tree. Move all bolt actions down a bit while you are at it as well
-
Take another look at the SMGs/ARS as how a lot of them are tiered does not make any sense. You have the Sig M1920, the strongest SMG in pacific and possibly in the game below the MP 40, or the measuring stick for all other SMGs in this game. The Federov, arguably the strongest gun in the game is also not placed at top tier for some reason.
-
Vehicles seem to be haphazardly placed all over the place, with little rhime or reason such as the Ju 188 is placed below vehicles it out preforms for CAS, and the Crusader being placed above a Panzer III J1 despite being about equal or inferior in most regards.
A final note, the tech tree as a whole seems to be too spread out over the early brackets and super cramped in the later brackets. Consider compressing the first 8-9 brackets into 4-5 brackets. This can be done by the shifting of semi-autos to a lower tier and then tweaking the other weapon placements around such a shift.
Another vote for GB and Italy
