Well, I’ve played with both guns, you can’t just look at the numbers alone.
You have to try it and see if it balances with the other side, not just looking at the numbers and seeing how good or bad it is. It doesn’t provide that complete information. It is the actual use situation that is the key variable of how good the weapon is.
Personally, I saw that the whole team was killed by ordering the bots to run in the open air.

So mp43 should be better, not at some points better as it is now.

I’m probably one of those people who want the weapons of all teams to be equal, but it’s not possible for this game because they make games for each team to have different strengths and weaknesses, even sometimes. It will lose the balance of the game.

When they introduced the m1919 and the p-51, which are much better than their mg-34 and fw-190 counterparts, I didn’t see a single post from Axis players.
But remember Panther, MP-43, fg-42, tiger. dozens of topics, hundreds of whining comments.
Were there topics asking to weaken the fedorov? No. There were topics about bringing back the old Mp43 features. No one is asking for more than he has.

remember topics complaining about the t-60, ppk-42(berlin), jumbo, il-2, t-34-85, pps-42/43, ppds, ppsh, t-50, someone once complained about the entire russian tanks before t-50 was added, there was also t-28E being called OP, someone once considered the m2 carbine OP. but yeah no it’s the allies the complain alot…

I don’t know what surprises you about the ppk-42 threads. At a time when 6-star weapons were a long time to give the USSR in Berlin a squad of such fighters, which made the already easy start of the Soviet side (thanks to the ppc42, t34-85) even easier.
I played with this squad for a long time myself and I liked it

new complains that is fair but i’m talking about through out the history of this forum the axis has complain the most, sometimes over some silly shit like the FG42 ammo count getting fixed since it had the ammo count of an LMG, 20/80 like BAR, without pouch instead of the 30 rounds total or 2 mags which ever is greater that most semi auto still a bit confused on why the m2 carbine has 30/90
