Game Monetization

Dont forget they confirmed we get to keep the squads AS IS in OBT.

Proof, if so required:

And @47094123 I think you now realise the reason why I call this guy delusional and dont talk to him directly anymore.

Love his countradiction between “the premium squad is not monetization because you pay for access and you get the premium squad as a reward for their ‘support’.” yet they cannot be removed because we paid for them?

Sorry what? What is your logic here? The premium squads were very much a reward for support many bought to get access, not really the squad itself so even from that perspective it is a ridiculous argument (yes Gaijin are terrible with statistics, but this is Darkflow whom have made a point of using them, not Gaijin who are apparently random). And that also means that is is not an indication of plans so again, encourage, don’t complain about what hasn’t happened, if you don’t like the premium squads, that is perfectly fine and you can talk about that, but no true indication has been made on that being the continuation.

Stop comparing them to Gaijin without true evidence of such, wait and see what they actually do, then complain, but feel free to suggest and point towards what you feel to be the right path, that is the entire point of this CBT which I remind you they have actually shown themselves to be completely different from Gaijin on, I wasn’t part of the WT CBT, but I doubt is was anything like this, these devs are very dedicated and respond to feedback, even if mostly indirectly so please keep feedback relevant to what is happening now and suggest future paths rather than criticising what has not happened.

This is just ridiculous and unnecessary, it is not reality since it has not occurred lol, it is simply your viewpoint which you are of course allowed, but as am I allowed to have my own LOL.

And you expect them to remove what what has been paid for, are you actually insane, do you ned to be interred in a mental asylum? That would be literal suicide since it is breaking direct promises and removing what has been paid for. Adjustments may be made to them, but they absolutely CANNOT be removed for crying out loud!

Says the person who in that same post made the most ridiculous statement to have ever graced the Earth (hyperbole).

Errr actually wtf? You make an utterly incredulous statement and then try to justify it by using me saying that we didn’t pay for them which is not at all what I said, maybe you need to learn basic comprehension whilst you’re there as well.

Okay I have something more to say after all
None of us suggested removal of premium squads.
However what was suggested (like thousand times, you don´t even need to try hard to find those suggestions) is the rework of what premium squads. In short: cosmetics with faster research, I´m sure you can find the details of it with ease.

Literally what I quoted there LOL, it does not specify that the squads won’t ever be adjusted, just that we will be keeping them, so that is what was suggested omfg.

gotta love this:

Quote & QUOTE:

We’re deliberately using certain episodes within famous WWII campaigns where both sides had a good chance of winning. Ultimately those clashes were won because of the bravery of soldiers on the battlefield. That’s exactly the situation we’d like to recreate in Enlisted. Obviously there were other episodes in those battles where one side had practically no chances of winning, but we simply do not recreate them in the game.

answer:

While we cannot disclose all the details yet, the microtransactions approach will be more or less similar to War Thunder. Players will be able to either play to get to the higher tier equipment and soldiers in each tech tree or pay to speed up the process. There will also be some premium cosmetic items that won’t give gameplay advantages but will please the most dedicated military history fans.

how ironic…

what’s the point of including cosmetic if you are gonna screw up the whole game with already filled up squads.

it’s so wrong… and i don’t see how they are " fine " with it…

Of course we did not arrived yet at the point where there are multiple premium squads, but you don’t need to be a jedi to understand that those squads will make you win with no effort. as there’s no BR thingy like war thunder preventing to face the best gear right on the bath.

also, i don’t think that they understand that
if you want to keep your playerbase attached to the game… and gain more money from the long term, not just make them leave after they bought the best equipment and leave the game as they got bored after 1 week/month.

but i ain’t no manager so…

thats why I made this post Battle points

It is not even known if its gonna be F2P or buyable title though.

There was a large community vote back in the day where the community at the time (mostly Russian) voted for F2P, though.

Are they not sticking to that decision?

Really convoluted system, sadly. It would be clunky at best, counterproductive at worst.

Wait a minute… how is it not known? It is being advertised as in future to be free to play, CCs were feeding their possible future community by “yeah it’s gonna be F2P” every few minutes of their stream and all that without any reaction from devs or gaijin, that it is a false statement, interviews count with F2P monetization, people who voted about the game voted for F2P and it is unclear if the game will be F2P?
If there is some new information about the monetization model not provided to us as testers (and judging by Cat´s reaction not even to CCP) then all this is nothing but an untransparent mess.

i really hope for the second option. but we both know how it’s gonna end.

not to mention, with the current system?

i don’t know about that.

convincing.

but it’s gonna partially fix the problem.

for now, we’ll see.

This game won’t survive as a paid game until much of the progression and core mechanics of the game gets a revamp. The death will be slower as a F2P in it’s current form and the P2W nature of the game.

And if it’s paid with this crap monetization, well then, may the lord help you.
