I have experienced it in all 3 of my travels to France. People either genuinely do not speak English or refuse to speak the language.
People play games to chill. Why would you speak another language while chilling when you have your native language to talk in with others? Just because you are mad at the people in your squad having fun in french doesnt mean you have to be highly racist, tcat

You and the other guy are making a point out of getting a French forum section despite it costing a new community manager. I am merely saying that more french people should just speak English in an English/Russian game, or use Google Translate.

I do not see how talking about life experiences is xenophobic. It is not an opinion, it is a fact based on French people I have encountered. They have in fact refused to speak English until I asked them to do so in French.

I had already said that if you just want to speak your own language, you can do so on the official discord server, which in fact has a French section to talk in. However, none of that is taken to the developers, which is the purpose of these forums.

You need to be a AAA company to afford 20 community managers to oversee all different language sections. That would still be ~8% of the total employee count.

French people not wanting to speak english doesn’t entitle you to ruffle your feathers aggressively and demand they speak english or they should throw themselves into the sun. Not to mention the discord is a nuclear disaster when it comes to anything useful.
I see nothing wrong with the forum eventually getting a translation for their respective communities, a lot of people don’t speak English, the number that do is actually the minority in most EU countries.
