Not at all, as I said no national Section is planned atm.
Those are not employees lmao. That is not via a binding contract.
If the French get their own section, next up will be the Spanish/Mexicans asking for one. Then the Japanese, Portugese/Brazilians, Chinese, Germans, etc etc. As soon as you add one, then there will be many more to add. And you need 1 CM per 1-2 sections as nobody really speaks that many languages.

I said community managers. I never said volunteers. I think it was clear by comparing it to EMPLOYEES that I was talking by EMPLOYEES but I guess you need further explanations?

Yeah.
Many Mistake the CMs work btw, National Coordinators were responsible for national sections. CMs are mostly Teamheads and overseer of an entire Team of Volunteers and sites. Stona for example is Wt.Live boss and WT Forum. Orson is Game Master and Steam and so on.
from my opinion i say both should be working when the idea will be moment will come you need a comunity manager to manage volunteers and that’s how you get a national section (dont forget to reward the volunteers of course)

Community managers actually get to talk to the developers and pass on stuff from the forums to the developers. Those volunteers do no such things with the War Thunder forums, they merely translate things.
The developers are clearly thin spread enough across two games, they would hire more devs before anything else.
yeah i think they are more bothered by the game’s development because it’s still a Beta so it makes sense they focus more on finishing their product than doing big upgrades that would have a minor impact for the actual game, and the game is already translated in French so it’s cool to see they did an effort to break the language barrier a bit

I’d hope the French would some day decide to attempt to break the language barrier themselves by learning how to speak the same language over a quarter of the world’s population already speaks but I guess that’s too much to ask?
Making the game playable for certain users is not the same as making suggestion posting easier for such users. Again, Google Translate exists.

Mandarin is the only language I’d expect to get added next to English and Russian in the long run here.
Nah. French people just have this bad habit of refusing to speak English even if they are able to.

They basically require you to first try to use their language before using English. It really irks me.

let me reask you the question : when you visit France why dont you learn French like 100% of our population ? it’s easy to say “go learn it” but it’s harder to admit that peoples do learn english and it seems to be even harder to admit they have less difficulties to talk in their native language
just saying : there is 14 national section in the WT forum and it works

Meanwhile the Germans speak English perfectly fine for the most part, even after WW1/2.
I have learned French. But it is pretty hard to get proficient at it so I have to resort to English to make myself understandable. But this is a Russian/English game so that’s a moot point.
