same with US, one of the reason is that BR IV jap guns are too unremarkable so people just skip over to BR V causing me pain fighting whatever Japanese SF/SMG with Garand that sometimes doesnât want to hit a Jap right in front of him especially while being zerg rushed by assaulters and late game infantryman. If Japanese semi auto rifles are buffed and down tiered I firmly believe that people will starting to play more Type Hei, Type Otsu and Type 4 thus achieving global BR II-IV for all factions when using BR III lineup.
US players are also kinda reluctant to use Garand over Thompson even BAR if they donât want to use support class because whatâs the point of using SA when you know youâre gonna get fucked by bunch of German and Japanese SF and SMG
i think this should be early BR III unlock like Gewehr 41 as its almost analogous with Gewehr 41, the aforementioned semi auto Mosin seems like a good analogue to Armaguerra.
US can have M1 Carbine still as token of acknowledgement as they are among the first faction who adopted SA rifles
itâs likely to be br2 because of the stripper clip reload and the non full powered rifle cartridge which would lead it to get the assault rifle upgrade path which would lock it to 320rpm at most like m1c and VG1-5 with VG1-5 being br 3 because it has a 30 rounder external mag
This is why I donât play level 3 allies much because I donât want to face level 5 Japanese. When I load the match and see it is Japanese, I watch the kill screen to the right and when I see level 5 weapons, I debate on whether I want to continue or desert. Lately, I desert because thatâs not what I chose my level 3 allies for. I have a great level 5 allies, so if I wanted to play level 5 I would have chose it. DF misses that point with their soft rule.
Wouldnât it be ironic if DF decided in the future that they wanted to harshly penalize deserters. Those who play level 3 Allies or Japanese are already penalized by being punked to level 5, then penalized again if they donât like it and desert.
no they didnât, itâs why itâs marked as a soft rule instead of the hard rule. they said âif there is enough people to fill the MM then it would be ±1 while if there is not then itâs the standard 1-3 3-5 will be usedâ
What I mean is that right now, people play BR2 because it does not guarantee a full up-tier, the matches could be BR1 or BR3.
In your system, people will have less incentive to play BR4 (again assuming 4 will only be paired with 5), because they will always be at a disadvantage; of course some players will enjoy this, but many players will not enjoy playing at a disadvantage, making BR2/4 options obsolete in your system.
If anything, I believe they should add a BR .3 or .7 system such as the one in warthunder.
this reminded me we had Liu rifle and SKS_30 added in game last update (Not in editor but apparently in some script)
SKS-30 is just a 10 round variant of SKS that is reloaded from under the gun how? it has special cases like M1 Garand you shoot 10 round then open the magazine cover from under the gun then pull the empty case out of the gun and then insert a new case to gun .
Not even with SMGs, i use Gewehr 41 mixed with Kar98k GGP/40 all the time. However its not the rifle that won me the matches, itâs my Panzerfaust 60 that constantly killed 10+ of enemy tanks.
in most matches I only have handful of infantry kills and most of them are either the tank crew that I just destroyed or those who bailed out.
Well, than we need a much complex system to simulate hand shaking, aiming lines alignment, any many other factor that makes your gun not exactly pointing at your enemy.
And gun irl does have dispersion, thatâs why sniper rifle is strictly picked from bunch of normal rifle.
Yup, I avoid BR 3 with both Allies and Japanese as in reality, it no longer exists. The exception is if you choose BR3 for Allies and get the Germans, then you might get BR4 but not BR5. IMOP the soft rule ruined BR3 for the Allies vs Japanese for those who donât want the +2 weapons level challenge.
When I used to load my BR3 allies and get level 5 Japs, I used to just accept it and play, but now? Not any more, doing so just validates the soft rule I hate. So, in the future if DF wants to penalize me for refusing to play my BR3 allies against BR5 Japanese? .
If you choose any BR4 weapon youâre more then likely going to be playing BR5 anyway. BR 5 should be a stand alone BR rating. For any DF people reading this stand alone means âBY ITSELFâ. 1-2 are ok together, 3-4 are ok together, but 5 needs to be by itself. 0/0 would be optimal, however getting DF to dump their soft rule has been such a struggle that 0/0 would be impossible.
