What you say is true - but it is dodging around the simple fact that the German vehicles are better defended against Soviet AT than vice versa. And that is all that was being said - you have tried to make excuses why it doesn’t matter.
Are there ways to defeat them or attack their weaknesses??
Sure - but the mere fact that you have to do so whereas the German can pretty much just front up and kill you is an advantage to the German side.
I hope the devs can find away to entice more players into playing as Soviets. Their bolt action rifles feel way more fun to use than the Germans, but at this point you’re at a disadvantage if you play as the Soviets so…
The topic here is German tanks being more powerful than Soviet tanks. If both sides have advantages and disadvantages, the German tanks are simply different. Not strictly better.
The thread is why Soviets lose a lot. The individual post was how Soviet tanks have lighter armour and so are easier to kill. The specific point being that every German AT weapon can pretty easily kill every Soviet tank, but every Soviet AT weapon cannot easily kill every German tank.
Again your shifting the goalpost makes your arguments weak.
All you had to do is say “True - but the soviets have some other features that are advantageous…”. Instead you just double down rather than move on.
Shrug - oh well - I hope you make some better points worth discussing soon.
You’re forgetting the Panzer II’s far superior traverse rate and faster acceleration.
The BT-7 is the only Russian tank that can hope to escape a det pack from a standstill, but any Panzer can just drive out of range before it detonates.
inb4 “just cook it lol”- Germans don’t have to cook det packs because T-60s and T-26s are too slow to escape them uncooked.
So in the tank-antitank game, there’s a higher skill requirement for the Russian team on both ends of it.
I’ve had T-60s escape them plenty of times thanks to how compact they are. Besides, if you stay on the move and only stop for short moments to shoot an enemy tank, you are way harder to hit. I have seen a lot of players use that tactic to great effect on any tank, even the Pz3B.
I suppose. But they have a lower skill requirement when dealing with enemy infantry when using the tanks, so that does count for something.
The 45mm HE is still utter trash, but it’s marginally better than the 37mm HE which behaves the same as the 45mm HE did before the “buff”.
45mm High Explosive should have close to the same radius/damage the M24 grenade has.
As opposed to what? T-60 or Panzer II, neither is realistically going to need anywhere near a full belt/clip to kill a tank unless they’re at completely the wrong angle.
That’s where balance and fun comes in again.
Grenades, artillery, and mortars all have unrealistically-small kill radiuses as well, but it wouldn’t be fun to make them realistic.
Yeah I know.
HE shells are just near worthless and should be buffed. Not quite to grenade levels with reloads as fast as this, but the kill radius should be a meter or two at the least.
