This has gotten out of control, Devs do something!

The T26 and BT-7 both get absolutely dumpstered at any range by the PzIIC and are thus not worth using just to use the really lackluster 20-K. The PzII at least has to aim for the T-60s turret and not just shred it like tissue anywhere.

they have good gun there’s something called situational awarenesss maybe use it,also t60 can pen the center of the turret of the panzer 2and again t26 and bt7 can do the job and ok comlain about t26 but how can you say that for bt7 it a relaly fast tankand again you have a good gun and you are defendingsupport you infatry or go tank hunting

Pz-2 and pz-3E are still better

bt7 is better than panzer 3 and oh no you can’t sealclub without putting effort what a tragedy, aim for weak point and flank dude you are the defender you have the defender’s advantage use it either stay back and kill infantry or flank and kill the enemy tanks that way and again you can literally pen panzer 2 in the turret or don’t know use a tank with a god damn cannon instead of a low pen autocannon

The reason why players prefer the t-60 is because it has actual armor. Bt-7 and t-26 are easy kills

guess what the panzer 3 e and panzer 2 are also easy kills for t26 and bt7 you people not using them is on you

T-60 vs Pz2 has always been a bit awkward as neither can pen each other’s front hulls.

Sure the Pz3E can pen the T-60 a bit better bit dies more easily too. Same goes vice versa with the BT-7

yes though i would say that t26 is a stop gap messure if you really need the better going for panzer3b give no benifit compare to t60 anyway t60 it stilla good machine and can do a lot of stuff and perosnally i use only pz 3e now cause the soviet refuse to bring anything other than t60 for the most part so when i play correctly my bigest worry is explosives rather than t60

BT-7 good tank mostly becouse it can avoide SOME of democharge by fast driving. For now its obviously best tank.
But anyway any tank easly destroying by democharges you just hold demo for a 5 seconds and through it with 1 sec cooldown right in a turret. At this time i dont see any purpose to play tanks

But it’s speed also allows you to flank enemy tanks and engage infantry at the distance of your choosing - as long as no PzB39 is hunting you, you can really go to town with it. At least in invasion, where there’s a lot of battlefield around the objective.

So you think bt-7 is good, i should definitely take it out again as my experience yesterday was bad. Could be bad luck though

Yes.
It’s made of paper armor, but it’s strongest point is it’s quick acceleration, forwards and backwards.
You can finally dodge explosion packs (and the infantry hunting you with it).

It certainly requires a special mindset. You’re neither an apex predator, nor a flight animal - but something in between. Jump your targets, retreat and reposition. If there’s an enemy infantry charge, you can break it up with a counter charge and good usage of your HE-shells… they eat clumped up squads whole.
Especially on point 3 (the barn) in the Invasion mode I’ve had quiet a lot of success with it, since you can retreat and hide in different clumps of undergrowth and forest, but I usually play with a group of friends that can warn me of… or even spot enemy tanks for me.
I’ve certainly warmed up to it.

After the lastest update I returned to do some testing & I was surprised at how the PPD handles now, strangely those hit not registering got to do with animation since it’s the only thing mentioned about the PPD. Furthermore I was astonished by the accuracy I could get with the weapon at little further than short range ( I won’t call it mid since it only shows white hits even with several short bursts).

Strange it was the animation that was playing with or it’s just that the developers have done something without mentioning them in the patchnotes. What is missing now is to revert the weapon state change that happened & see how it goes (mind you I didn’t get to try a German SMG at mid range to judge it).

It’s actually usable now, so the shotgun is back to being a niche weapon instead of being the only assaulter weapon capable of killing anything.

It always was usable. I pick up PPDs very often, before this patch as well, to help me clear rooms as it was and always will be a CQC weapon and it outperforms basically everything in that

we germans would still like to have our shotgun back instead of you guys having a renamed luftwalle drilling :slight_smile:

I found it more effective before to sprint around shanking people than to empty half of my mag into each one with a PPD.

I just headshot
the firerate of the PPD virtually guarantees I hit a head within my first 3 shots by just aiming at head height

just had 3 headshots point blank on a dismounted tank driver with a PPD and they still killed me first.

Then those were not headshots, as that would have killed anyone. At point blank 1, maaybe 2 headshots is enough due to the 3x or higher headshot multiplier (i dont recall how much it exactly is but it is big)
