Does the soviet union always lose?

Yeah that fits.
Do you have a source on the 37mm HE? I looked for an hour or so when I was looking into the 20-K’s HE and found absolutely NOTHING so I was left unfulfilled and curious.

Someone had, about 2-3 months ago. Should still be somewhere on this forum

That is the kill radius, at least with 45mm that I’ve used.

Idk, maybe I’m misjudging how far 2m (~6ft) is, but you still have to drop it directly next to their feet to harm them. With the PzIIIB I have to straight up slap them in the torso for the kill lmao.

You sure you’re using HE?
45mm AP still has a tiny bit of splash to it, while 45mm HE you can lob through a window, hit a wall, and get a kill or at least down someone.

Yeah I am sure I’m using HE lol.
It works better when splashing off walls and the like, yeah. But firing at soldiers who are out and you have to slap it into the dirt is where I chose to complain.

The main issue is that german weapons are all overpowered.

Just like 3 of them counting the Panzer II as a weapon.
For the most part it’s that Germany has the much higher concentration of tryhards.

You don’t see PPK kills from 3 different players at the same time in the kill feed like you see MP-41s going, and taking a premium means prioritizing winning over leveling your squads.

pay to win intensifies

Hmm yes 14 damage bolt actions are totally overpowered compared to 15 damage bolt actions.
or 20rd MP28 with low rate of fire vs 25rd high rate of fire PPD box

Early on, the Soviets have a definite advantage.
Later on, the Germains gain the advantage with MP40/41 and having a bolt action (rifle grenade one) that actually deals 15 damage, negating the inferior bolt action damage

I don’t like that people ignore that the German rifles bolt much more quickly negating the slightly less damage.

Fire more quickly?
M91/30 - 49-54
Dragoon - 52-57
M1895 - 71-78
K98 - 60-66
Pre-war K98 - 65-72
Vz24 - 60-66

You get a gun that has both higher damage and fire rate.
Sure our other 2 rifles do fire faster, but if you can oneshot 49-54 targets (not counting reloads) a minute thanks to that damage edge being the diffrence between consistent or inconsistent 1-shots, germany being able two-shot 30-33 targets a minute still makes you win.

Yes, 1 ( ONE) gun that is also a later stage unlock. Germans have the advantage up until that point and you’re still going to see more k98s than you ever will M1895s let’s be realistic here. Plus the M1895 currently has the Springfield’s irons which are awful Imo and racking the bolt is kinda jarring.

How is not being able to consistently oneshot an advantage?

Because I one shot with the Kars most of the time and if I don’t that quicker bolting speed allows me to just flick them again and move on. It is a non-issue for me that they do 14 damage compared to the Mosins. :man_shrugging:
The ability to very quickly follow up is advantageous in its own right.

Against normal soldiers I could agree with this, but you really can’t consistently oneshot a premium soldier. Even on torso shots they only go down, not resulting in a kill. (note: not upgraded guns)

You can down them in one shot and then flick them with a follow up. Just have to reload is all.
And my only perspective with kraut guns barring the MP41 is stock since I never upgraded them.

Well the thing is that you generally dont get the entire premium squad without losing at least a few of your own. Even if a Soviet squad gets wiped, they at least killed a few prem soldiers while the Soviet premiums can just get up after getting hit by the German bolt actions.

Idk about that because I can easily wipe them solo with a single MP41 magazine or two k98 strippers. Soviet premiums aren’t hard to kill at all especially if you just get into the groove of flicking them when they’re downed. It’s something you have to do with Mosins as well a lot of the time if you haven’t fully upgraded it.
