Do not add the PPSh-41 (S) to the tech tree

I want a full Soviets commandos squad… that weapon would have been perfect for them.

Allies will get the cool Commonwealth commandos with silenced m1… and they already have French resistance plus the TT squad.

Axis will get the werewolves boys with an also cool commandos uniform… and they have gestapo looking (?) Premiums and TT squads.

That’s 3 squads each.

Soviets got TT and Partisans. They could have gotten a nice looking special forces squad with that weapon to have 3 squads too.

(Japan is just ignored as usual sadly)

Ain’t that the truth.

Japanese mains looking at all the cool stuff everyone else gets (mainly the soviets)

Quite satisfied with the upcomming planes, though I won’t truly know until they’re out.

The sawn-off M2 is sadly in the same boat as the PPSh-41 (S), though I am less bugged about that one because: 1) I doubt people will actually use it in any substantial numbers (it might say BR V but I bet most would still preffer the Tokyo Arsenal), and 2) Japan BR 4-5 is already quite oversaturated with similar items, apart from the AS and RD 44 Soviet high BR is actually very good at being both authentic and competative.

While I’m not a Japan main, I do play as them from time to time. And while I only play BR 2 and don’t use planes, they definitely need some love.

Because I still have to fight against them.

  1. Taking G43 and Tiger 1 and going to Battle of Berlin and seeing AS-44, RD-44, SU-9 and now Silenced PPSH (which wasn’t even a prototype – it didn’t even exist) is neither Battle of Berlin nor is it “fun”. If all of them were in a separate “fantasy fun” BR6 which never mixed with BR5 – I would be more than happy if others enjoyed it.

  2. I don’t think weapons which never existed are “cool”.

  3. HLL is a different genre, If you want to go this route, I can suggest you try Fortnite/Apex/Vanguard as those games are full of “cool items”?

Honestly YES! Actual WW2 stuff is the best.

UPD: check here, isn’t it a source of infinite actually cool content?

If WW2 wasn’t itself cool, this wouldn’t be a WW2 genre game.

It will also disturb the game balance, the soviets will be the only ones with a TT supressor weapon. I don’t play Br 4-5, so it doesn’t really affect me, I’m more concerned with the precedent it will set.

It was already added to Enlisted Resource so most likely the update will roll out right after the test server ends and they will add the silenced ppsh

I’m buying 20 of them just in case of removal in the future. :skull:

Like the MP-717 (Which should return to the german TT in my opinion)

It definitely shouldn’t. It’s exclusive for a reason. If you want to play ppsh, there’s Soviet TT for it.

Yeah, I know. But it would be nice if Gaijn/Darkflow add a weapon similar to it for germany, like that one Suomi 36 in the files

Nah give drum Suomi to German TT

Meh.

I wanted to play with a panzershrek (ofenthing), so I played axis for that exclusivity. Look where that went, eh.

What I mean is that reason doesn’t hold up anymore…

This counter argument could only work if I supported the idea of copypasted Ofenrohr across several TTs.

Which I do not. You literally just proved my point. This isn’t the way to go.

Of course it isn’t.

But devs said otherwise is what I’m saying.
