Commanders, based on your feedback from the Test Server and our previous announcement, we’re replacing the PPSh-41 (S) in the upcoming “Forest Shadows” update with the much-requested 20-round variant of the AVT-40. This new BR V weapon will be in the research tree at the end of the rifle line!
You are already familiar with the AVT-40 as it’s commonly used in high BR - but this variant combined with the AVS 36’s fire rate changes will bring a fresh twist to battles. The 15-round variant will also be tweaked to have less recoil, allowing you to choose between larger magazine size or better accuracy.
We also heard your concerns about the PPSh-41 (S) that it should be rare and it’s too distinctive for the research tree, so we’ll be saving it for a special occasion in the future.
This is the first time in Enlisted’s history that we’ve altered the content of a major update after the Test Server and we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for your ongoing support - we’ll see you soon in the Wald!
Well it’s us dreamers that change history, and we just did that my friend, and when your children and grandchildren (if you plan on having any) ask about your greatest accomplishment, It will be the removal of the PPSH-41 (S).
Yes, let’s counter the powercreep by further strengthening an already very powerful rifle that just got a powercrept but the powecreep we want to counter.
Basically, the double powercreep.
We could have cool BR5 smg. But we are going to get just another SF rifle powercreep, not to mention it’s just lazy copy paste.

the removal of DF might have actually been the best thing that happened to the game because i never saw them backtrack before a possible disaster ( yes first version of steam i look at you )
