Different monetization method: Battlepass

That would do just nicely, but I can´t really see gaijin actually commiting to that.

Yeah this

I could see Darkflow wanting to, but with the snail overlord idk

I don’t see why they wouldn’t. For one you have people buying the battlepass “premium” track because they want to unlock it right then and there and later they can put the things up for sale which would yield even more money. IMO that’s a win-win for everyone

lol shithole, people on this here forum are so abrupt lol but I like that I guess

Lowering the pressure even with delay? Monetization schemes of gaijin are built on quick seas of bucks with some bonus from the rest here and there.

They pretty much did but gaijin way… You earn your vehicles in battlepass as marketplace coupons you can sell… which means gaijin continues proffiting and preying on collectors while price slowly increases.

Of course we take it seriously. I for one want to see this game to flourish, I want it to be fun and addictive with a large following and hopefully nice community. It kind of scratches that “sort of realistic but arcadey enough to be fun” -itch which I haven’t had in a long time. I only hope the devs make the right calls

Speaking of realism, what are your guys’ thoughts on the stamina system? I wouldn’t mind it gone, the game is slow paced enough with the current movements speed

It helps prevent people from constantly bunny hopping and what not so I’m okay with it for now.

why tho? The battle pass system is a viable monetization system. I’d say its the best of both worlds

Oh, that’s an interesting point. But I don’t think bunny hopping will be much of a problem with the inertia (which I’m also not really a fan of… feels sluggish). Well, one problem after another. I’m already making tangents when this topic is about the battlepass idea

Oh you can bunny hop just fine
I use it to jump around corners when I know there’s some dickhead sitting there.
I did it to @19945606 after he fragged me with his shotgun yesterday lmao

I feel like without streamers shilling it it wouldn’t work. That’s a big part of Fortnight’s model as well, peer-pressure.

WT is the only battle pass I’ve ever experienced - I haven’t played any of the other games mentioned.

And it is fine for me.

Sorry for all those of you who have bad memories from some other game, but that’s something you should learn to get past - as I understand it each game’s BP system is unique to the game and saying an Enlisted one will be bad because you didn’t like Fortnite or whatever is silly.

this game is slow?? WTF???

Stamina is fine!

Let’s not get off-topic with the stamina stuff.

It could solve a lot of the problems we like p2w. you could make it so any unique squad you could grind for free and any other squad is cosmetic would be in the paid version. The devs have to get money somehow and battlepass and cosmetic shop system seems like the best option. IMO a pure cosmetic system wouldn’t work all that well so I see this as the best middle ground.

so for those wanting battlepass: do you want it because you would pay for it, or only because it’s less P2W?

you seem to not get why am I against it

I will be quick and this applies to @5762269 @wolfy706 @FastGT007 @8383908

Battle pass as a system is okay

BUT

Enlisted should take some ideas from Fortnite battle pass and make their OWN system that doesn’t have to be called ‘‘battle pass’’.

Just copying ‘‘battle pass’’ is CRINGE and UNORIGINAL, it also shows weakness

But using the idea of the battle pass and making a UNIQUE system is better and less cringe

Again, why are you saying that copying the most successful game in the world cringe while we have been copy pasting war thunder so far?

Why is copying a P2W system fine, but this not?

Both in my case.

@5762269 I think the reason why he wouldn’t like a battlepass in enlisted because of games like Fortnite and COD doing this typw of idea, Hell even COD these days sells ironsights for 5 dollars and seeing players running around with anime girl camos would be cringy at some points, but for games like these examples, its mainly based around for fun. Enlisted on the other hand, is trying to be authentic in an unapologetic WW2 setting. well “Authentic” since there are certain guns that kills way to fast for no reason but yeah thats my take
