no. they are broken in certain spots (i.e. you canât rotate it as much as you should) and you are unable to mount them when you should be. a buff is when you make a change, with the intention of making it more powerful. a fix is when you fix something that either didnât work at all or didnât work as intended. itâs about intention.
if you had bothered to read, there isnât an issue with fixing that. thereâs an issue with nerfing something that was already balanced by making it reliant on this system that already has so many benefits without making you suffer for not using it. all this will do is push people towards SF rifles, taking even more diversity away from the gameâs loadouts (just like the mp43 nerf did)

At maximium you can âspamâ three sniper squads which also have the lowest amount of squad mates. Not really effective for me compared to a rifle or engineer squad.

Good idea. A fragile squad made for engaging OHK rifles with a lower dmg AR âsniperâ and higher disperson. What could go wrong? Possible that after the first five kills the whole squad got rifled in case it didnt already got killed before it could reach their effective range.

People are asking to add hardcore mechanics to a casual game. This is as stupid and wrong as possible.
While the same MG42 has a monstrous 0.68 dispersion, it cannot be used as a real machine gun (i.e. for shooting at 100-300 meters, serious enemy suppression).
In this game the weapon does not have the right accuracy, there are no maps of the right size, and there are no missions where it is needed.
The penalty to running speed is already a huge disadvantage of machine guns, because it takes you longer to run to the point. Iâm still against crude scatter mechanics when running, as it should be much more subtle and accurate (the penalty should increase if youâve been running recently, but be quite small if youâve been finding in place and then started crouching to go and shoot).
Also, there are only 3 of them in the machine gun squad vs. 4 guys with SMGs.
With the exception of the m1919, which has almost half the dispersion (0.4) of the âOPâ Mg42, more ammo, faster reloading, lower recoil, and no excessive rate of fire, the other machine guns are far less âmetaâ weapons than the top semi-auto rifles and SMG

Stalingradâs machine gun is already a very weak thing. In other battles, machine gun is the core equipment of German attack and defense, but in Stalingrad, I abandoned the machine gun team and did not set up machine gunners in other teams

I think what we have now is more realistic, weapons should have some weight simulated into the game based on IRL equivalent instead of weapon class. Fixing the bipods seems like a better solution compared to reverting this change.
