Core current tasks

Enlisted now has two large campaigns! We are still adding new content to the Battle for Moscow and Invasion of Normandy campaigns as well as working on improving the game in general, including following the suggestions and discussions of the CBT players.

We have studied your feedback on the launch of Normandy campaign and here are the priority tasks for now:

AI IMPROVEMENT

We continue to focus on developing our AI soldiers behavior, as per the previous devblog. You can already use extended commands to affect your squad formation. AI soldiers also already react better to the ongoing events in battle.

Currently we are balancing the longer distance behavior of our AI and making them behave more realistically. Overall, they will have a harder time hitting you from afar, especially if there is something masking you.

SOLDIER PROGRESSION SYSTEM

We are also currently working on a big update in the progression and specialization system of your squads and soldiers. We will introduce new ways to obtain rewards and to be able to customize your squads. Some improvements will lower the random factors and give you more control of progression.

MISCELLANEOUS

We are temporarily switching off ā€œthe swamp locationā€ to rebalance and improve it and remove zones where AI soldiers had significant unfair advantage in the swampā€™s foliage.

We will also be working on balancing weapon damage and tuning up flamethrowers.

We have already released some of the bug fixes and improvements based on your first day of feedback. Like detaching from a stationary machine gun, camera sticking, soldiers movement physics, troops and supply logistic orders. All orders lost were returned to the owners!

Biggest thing I am looking forward to, as it really needs a lot of change. PLEASE consider turning the upgrades into sidegrades, and reducing the effectiveness of perks, to even the playing field between new and old players.

Please donā€™t nerf semi automatic rifles again

They are great right now!!! The only issue I have is stated here:

Are you considering in introducing limits for overpreforming rifles and tanks (I made a suggestion a while ago)

Also, what do you think about my idea of fixed squads? I donā€™t know what devs think about it so Iā€™m not sure whether I should still push it or leave it behind

I also want to suggest for better animations and physics

These ones we had are kinda bad for a game with such great graphics and engine

Oh thank gods this progression system is not going to stay! That is probably the best news from the entire post that boosted my hopes by a lot! Thank you, thank you, thank you! As TCat Suggested, please consider getting rid of overpowered perks like +% hp or nerfing them severely.

Ofcourse the developers decide what is the most important to improve, but, I hope that movement of the character, animations, also gets improved. It remains a bit clunky.

Second, the presentation of the game, the ā€˜corporate identityā€™. Everything, from the use of fonts, design of the menus, the whole User interface design, is pretty outdated. Because it looks old, the game feels old. This really needs a modern and clean design, not too fancy and kiddy, just modern.

That also makes it more attractive, easier and clear for new players.

Considered previous bugs fixing can take ages. Good luck on fixing/introducing so many new things in less than 3.5 weeks, before the end of march. The rumored released date of Enlisted Mainland China Version.

** The position of the tutorial area and the location of items in the tutorial missions for ā€œInvasion of Normandyā€ campaign have been changed.

  • Default control settings have been changed:
    • Flap control buttons have been assigned.
    • Rocket launch button has been changed.
  • XBOX] Changing the cross platform settings no longer requires a client restart

I sincerely hope not as well.

On the other hand, as long as the changes will be somewhat polished and visible improvement, IĀ“m willing to wait as much as it is necessary.
