Considering the German army and enlisted is so heavily brain damage we can’t make an adapter for 100 rounds for an MG34 or MG42 it seems about right while the allies have a belt fed MG which doesn’t even look like it has 100 rounds and yet it does for some magical reason.

Suppressive fire and I’ll be happy for 150 or 250 but that’s not possible so I’m only going for 100

And you can build HMG, it will do better job with suppressive fire.
Tell that to the lunatics of Normandy falling from the sky with 100 round thompsons or Vickers and any end game Normandy allies with the Browning or the allies from Berlin and spraying down the corridor with the RD-44.
When this game is not so fast-paced and people are not bum rushing the objectives and it’s had more strategic gameplay I would agree with you but since it doesn’t it’s kind of pointless especially when you’re up against a death stack because they won’t let you fortify your position.
and you are right about the power creep and from what I’m seeing it’s only gonna get worse more mindless gameplay instead of using our brains.

What’s your highest campaign level btw? You most likely wouldn’t be even able to get them. If they are going to be normal progression weapons.

And he’s right. If you can’t be effective with the 50/75 round MGs, you’re not going to be effective with an 100 round MG.

That’s true but when they’re using horde tactics with Seven man squad or nine man squad they’ll overwhelm you eventually.

You’re not playing it right. The MG34/42 works best in short, targeted bursts. Its recoil is way too high for suppression fire, so you still couldn’t do that even if it did have an 100 round belt.
The Conders MG can provide accurate suppression fire because it has very little recoil and a high fire rate. And it’s still quite powerful for what it is.

I use burst fire but why I want a belt fed weapon so I don’t have to change belts so often especially when they start using body armor.
