It’s a step, but, I believe we can do even better, can we?
A bit more income per match maybe?
I am personally not a fan of loot boxes. They may be a little juicier, but are once a day only and luck relevant: not at all related to what effort a player puts in.
Yes, a bit more income per match, depending on the effort and performance of players, would seem a bit better to me.
Soviets don’t need parachutes they just drop into snow they are superhumans.
Russians in the area of Yelnya and Dorogobuzh used a new, typically Russian method: transport aircraft with a small flight height threw paratroopers with weapons directly into the snow without parachutes… Deep snow softened the blow, and most soldiers did not get any damage.
Nice small steps, but small steps nonetheless. I said several times that, “with Premium you can barely buy everything you come across, but not upgrade anything since there would be no leftover Silver”. Well, this makes it possible that, with Premium, you can buy everything and upgrade some weapons.
I guess that if the endgoal for Enlisted’s monetization is have as many people as possible buying the BP and Premium time, it would be fair. The prices of Premium squads are still absurd tho, but if the game can be monetized properly through Premium time, I am not against that endgoal.
Even then, please Darkflow, look at the newbie player economy and try to boost it. You could achieve this with some juicier achievement rewards, some kind of newbie-only BP that focuses on Silver and Exp, longer new-account Premium time (like 2 weeks or 1 month) etc. We need newbie players to not be scared by a daunting economy, and consider that these changes wouldn’t matter to veterans and are strictly for the wellbeing of the game in the long term. So please, don’t just stop here. Focus on the newbie players’ economy, make them get hooked by the gameplay with an easier early economy and then they will be willing to keep playing and buying Premium time. It’s a win-win in my opinion.
