By the way, did any RPD really participate in World War II?
No Idea that’s a Joseph question.
the rd 44 was tested behind the front lines, never actually seen combat.
I hope to let it participate in actual combat in Berlin in the game.
it was in the alpha testing, matter of time before the will re introduce it.
Nope, didn’t serve and probably shouldn’t be in the game.
Blockquote
Although the RPD was ready for mass production during the final stages of World War II, it was adopted in 1948 and large scale delivery of the weapon did not begin until 1953.[1]
if i remember correctly, it was present during the alpha of berlin.
( i’ll tag @Shiivex since he might knows a bit more about it or can actually remember it better than me. my memories are a bit washed out )
this is the machine gun I wonna see
probably they will put it in as a premium/gold order weapon, or even an event weapon.
I’m thinking the Stinger is/should be a premium or gold order weapon for the Pacific if/when we get a pacific theater campaign. But, I’d like to see the 1919A6 in Normandy and Tunisia.
100 rounds
heavy recoil per bullet.
played with it couple of times in berlin alpha
same as king tiger, is2 , fedorov and stg
glad my good 'ol brain of mine still works for something
damn, the king tiger (P) ( Porsche ), that was pure fun, (a bit less for the soviets though… )
Aight, but how many experimental weapons do we want in the game?
that sums it up.
i m to this day to find actual evidence of it used in ww2 . but its highly possible since their were units builted and tested. so i dont mind it ingame.
if they can balance them, all of them.
it would be hilarious to watch people run around with a cutdown M1919 that can fire at 1200-1300 Rpm that BAR carry handle isn’t just for show its so you can effectively fire it from the hip.
if they ever put it in, probably the dispersion would be so bad that it would be useless
sure. wanna give me a troop double barrel mg81 modification stock? i show you 3200 rpm.
mg81z to be precise
you’d see people shotgunning with it and you know it
