why was trash?
(im a new player 2 months i know nothing of the cbt)
its a model of the 1944, so its plausible that some models were in service in the ww2
Had too much recoil per bullet fired.
Some were issued to non front-line troops for testing before the end of the war
its enough for gaijin
Sadly yes. Hurray for the IS-3 in Berlin campaign i guess
we get non front line equipment already like puma, MAS, and m1 carbine to name a few
More than enough.
All of those saw combat in WW2, nothing in common with the RPD
you mean like the m2 hyde, ppk-42, PMD-42 which all were produced* but never saw service?
Those are in premium squads. Also it is my opinion, i know that Darkflow will put experimental etc guns on premium squads and also add equipment as long as it was existed in the WW2 timeline regardless of either used in a theater or not
PDM isn’t apart of a premium squad, neither is the ppk-42 but that is besides the point since OP wonders if they are going to be in the game which is possible
Yeah i know the question, i just was impressed that it was in earlier stages of CBT. Since it is in the logistics as a pic pretty sure it ll be in the higher Berlin lvls
Yeah not premium squads, but as special guns.
i tink even if the weapon hasn’t see action in the ww2, its always a good thing having more weapons to use.
was in the open pre alpha test in berlin, 1st to 3rd april 2020 if i remember correcly.
if they relegate the RPD behind a paywall with the pretest “it wasn’t in service” il be very disappointed
It was rare or prototype so i am pretty sure it will come as a normal weapon. At least this is the precedents we have in game with other guns. Also it was in a pre-alpha test so this also leads to being a normal gun imo
that doesnt mean nothing. you have examples of normal guns currently on premium squads. for example the g41 in normandy.
as long as we see it ingame. i dont care or mind if its in a premium squad.
if it comes as alpha was, it wasnt a good lmg.
But there is the G41 is Moscow as normal one and since the RPD can only be available in Berlin and was mass produced it make sense to be a normal gun. Anyways at least this is what i expect based on their current gun “logic”
it was mass produced in the 50’s. not in 44.
was ready to be mass produced as far as i remember in my readings, but war was over. as far as i remember was some issue related to the new 7.62x39mm cartridge.
the max i could find was:
(…)batch of 1000 machineguns were produced in Kovrovsky factory #2 in 1944 and sent for troop testing including the field army."
