Wonder if that 3.7cm gun can be reloaded as fast as the 2lber the British use. 
either? Always read they had a rather quick practical rate of fire.
Only occasionally, when I don’t have any planes available. But it was around 2 weeks ago where they released a series of patches without any patch notes, and afterward I noticed that all planes became easier to take down. Maybe they fixed some bugs with the plane damage models then.
All those small guns had pretty good rates of fire for manually loaded guns - as long as they were semi-auto - ie they used recoil to eject the spent cartridge and leave the breech open - you’re looking at 15-20 rounds per minute.
Putting any of them in SP mounts would only slow that down if anything - due to possibly having non-optimal crew and ammo placements
They haven’t fixed the damage model for shooting at them with other a/c, which I do regularly.

Well you can’t (well, rarely) really use it as an AA gun, so you might as well get some XP for using it.

the anti-aircraft of the second world war have always been used during the war to attack tanks and infantry, after all they are pieces of artillery when there were no planes to shoot down they aim at what was on the ground(german are the best on this)
Have you considered a flanking maneuver? It’s cutting edge in tactics. Don’t think it will catch on in Enlisted, though, but try it.
I don’t find it fun playing against people who are much better at the game than me - I end up dying a lot. Those people should have their mouse locked, so they can only use their keyboard. It adds to gameplay value.

AA guns vs infantry is totally fine, its just the lack of effectiveness against aircraft that makes it useless.

My proposal is to buff AAA, remove shield, fix bug that AAA gunner can’t be shot sometimes, add overheating.
If you want to use it against inf it’s still powerfull but you are quite vunerable because of no shield and because you may overheat.
