A few high-BR Machine Gun suggestions

Yeah true

But overall it looks heavy as hell but how would you even reload it lmao

Like an MG42 But a little bit Heavier

Okay, so you’re saying Germany has better machine guns than everyone else! In that case they wouldn’t need any more then.

I don’t believe the MG 81Z was ever used by infantry. It was exclusively an aircraft machine gun.

I’d be fine with it as an event reward.

At the end of WW2 they used it in desperation to use any weapon as possible to defend themselves both by soldiers on foot or in fixed positions, Vehicles the Two Versions the MG81 and the MG81Z

Why would the Wehrmacht’s main machine gun have to be, along with the MG43, an event weapon with a 250-round magazine and a rate of fire of 1800, if that’s how the Wehrmacht operated it?

Why would they have to do the same with the Thompson and PPSH41, lower their rate of fire and remove their drum magazine and make them Event Weapons with those things as you say? Let’s see what happens if that happens.

If you’re interested in learning more about the MG08/15 configuration in WW2, here’s a Forgotten Weapons vid about it.

Interesting. I wasn’t able to find anything on it being used by ground troops when I was researching for this post. Do you have a link or pic showing ground troops using the MG-81z?

I already told you that they would only use it for Tier III, not IV-V, since it is inferior to its more advanced versions.

Yes you’ve said that but you’re wrong. It would be perfectly suited for BR V.

And regardless, I wasn’t talking to you.

So I see nothing in that source to suggest that it was used by Infantry units. From what the source says it was just used as an Aircraft MG.

“The MG 81Z can be found in many unique installations in the Luftwaffe. Some of the more known applications, are a pair of MG 81Z’s installed in the hollow tail cone of the Dornier Do 217. Designated R19 (R for Rüstsätze) for the factory designed field kit, it allows the pilot of the Do 217 to shoot at pursuers. Another application was the “Watering can”, an externally mounted pod with 3 sets of guns and ammo meant to be attached to a Junkers Ju 88 and used to strafe ground targets.”

There is no point in using a Tier III weapon instead of a Tier IV-V one when they are better in Rate of Fire, Ammo Capacity, Accuracy

Wrong

Tell me where I’m wrong?

I can assure you that if the Stinger was in the research tree it would be used by the Allies over the Browning M1919A6, It’s the same with Germany, I want you to tell me why I’m wrong.

Yes but the Stinger is not in the research tree, so is not relevant to a conversation about research tree weapons

The MG42 was the main machine gun of the Axis in WW2 as was the Browning M1919A6 With the allies
