Never, hopefully. Mag fed and mag reloaded semi auto rifles belong at BR4, not at BR3. The SVT-38 doesn’t fit and should either get stripper clip reloads or moved to BR4.
We have a Garand, which clips work in the game just like magazines. And we have a BP Type-Hei with a detachable 10-round magazine. We need to give the 10-round Type-Hei into the TT and lower the ZH-29 into BR3.
In my opinion, Germany should have a BR2 semi-automatic rifle that truly belongs to them, so I recommend it even more strongly.
I’d honestly just change the existing ZH-29 into a BR 2 rifle with the 5 round magazine, as it’s the best option to place there (in terms of something that saw service in WW2 by Germany). Then, the Gewehr 43 can be buffed.
If 10 rounds with detachable magazines ever became standard at BR 3, move the Gewehr 43 to BR 3, and add a Gewehr 43 with the limited field trial 20 round magazine (currently on the Gerat 03 in-game) at BR 4:

The Garand has 20% less ammunition and the others are incredibly limited. I was talking about the TT that shouldn’t have 10 round detachable magazine semi auto rifles in BR3. There must be a step between them and bolt actions
5 round semi-autos on BR2?
That’s not a step between that’s a step to the side, or at least it should be. There’s no reason for the jump between BR2 and BR3 to be larger than it is right now.
